"Mortal creature, you stand before Sak'noth, kneel and offer due tribute!" As he said that, the wings they held were slowly spread to the side until such were fully open - "Or become prey for the demon kin.

Choose wisely." Therefore, the choice was now up to her on how to proceed.

[18:55] As the demon flew over to her the felinae watches with an excited gaze. Could this finally be the threat she's been told so much about.

"Prey you say?" Jarico says with a tilt of her head. "That word means you're a hunter of sorts."

The feline's tail sways behind her as her eyes narrow. "I don't kneel when ordered, so I guess I only have one choice."

As she says this shadows begin to swirl around her, a smile begins to turn on her face. Finally she was seeing something interesting.

[19:02] The demonic creature's beak began to tap a few times, while its gaze glowed for a brief instant before the sand of this area began to grow restless.. As such was under the control of the abomination, becoming volatile and moving towards the feline!

Meanwhile, mana from the surroundings landscape began to imbue itself around Sak'noth, almost like a layer of 'armor' around his vessel - which was clearly intended to strengthen his body.

And so did it do.. Yet, it still required more refining before being used properly - it was only a test.

"You made your choice, mortal." And so, in an instant, that creature leapt towards the beastkin.

If it wouldn't be through words, it would be through force that she will be subdued.

"Your node will be harvested!" These words were the last things said for the moment, as his assault began.

It was the outcome chosen.

[19:20] Still weakened from its past injuries, the being's movements weren't one of those great things - yet, it still advanced! At least.. This time much calmer than before when he had fought the Cadet of Aen.

For this reason here he was hunting.

As always.

And! During the fight, it was noticeable that he delayed the woman's movements with the sand, while using mana to strengthen himself - forcing his arms, legs and body itself to go to the limit to then deliver blows against the catkin!

Quite the combination.

Yet, one which had its toll on him.

However the problem only began during a test, as there was a moment when he even.. Tried to control her movements with his mana, but it was a failure. Since he'd wrapped her arms with ether and then tried to invade her circuits with it - but this act only served for one thing, to damage the filaments in the process.

Oh no.

Due to that and the fact that he was injured after the light and shadow manipulation that damaged his vessel, there would be a small mana overload! One that soon after bursted between them.

It was quite the sight!

And in that, both he and she were flung away.. Giving a possibility of escape to the catkin from the being's grasp - "Argh.. No! I lost another one.." He complained to himself, his wings flapping repeatedly before looking at his servant - "Why don't you help capture these beings, stupid Cambion." His head was then shaken, before he joined the servant.

[19:29] The young felinae ran into the fight excited for something of interest. However her excitement quickly fell as she began to realize how over her head she really was.

She manipulated shadows and light to strike at the demon. Even mixing illusions of sound to try to disorient him. Though this didn't seem to work very well for her. Her attacks were weak and unfocused. Even despite the demons apparent injuries slowing his movements she still couldn't do much.

His attempts to invade her cericetry were new to the girl, she wasn't certain how long she could continue resisting. Just when she thought she couldn't take more an explosion of mana occurred sending both flying. This was her chance, the girl waisted no time fleeing. Though she escaped with her life she could still feel the lingering effects of the fight on her arms.
