'Sup, doods!

Now I'm getting things done. The Sub-5 Lottery of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom's Yugi Challenge mode has been won. It looks like I'm now about to get into a Sub-6 Lottery, as well, but it's great to be able to progress. The learning of the first Mario Golf: Advance Tour Speed Golf is truly into its home stretch. Three holes remain and I now have a new run to compare my notes with to wrap things up. And most importantly, the Kirby's Avalanche speedrun tournament is Saturday and the broadcast layout is finally in a finished state. Every good entertainment setup needs a rehearsal and I intend to do a runthrough ASAP to make sure it works. OBS's Advanced Scene Switcher is very based.

Part of the eventual revamp of my stream will involve making use of the Advanced Scene Switcher to produce effects that I want as part of my stream, but would require automation to execute efficiently. I have a feeling that my way of getting things done to grow the stream and expand the content is going to have to be done through automation. This will need time for me to sit down and play around. There will come a need for an extended break from streaming to set up the infrastructure to give my best effort. It's not coming in the immediate future, but it will have to be done sometime this year if I want to get done the things that I want to do. Stay tuned, doods.

Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals:

Goal #2: create a broadcast stream layout for the next LPS minor speedrun tournament game, Kirby's Avalanche. It should be done. I'm gonna run through it over the next couple of days to make sure it functions like I've set it up to. I've got some really neat functions to show off on Saturday.
Goal #3: update the LPS Pokémon Puzzle League broadcast layout to be better automated like the Tetris Attack layout. In my head, this shouldn't take too long, but if the crawl of the Kirby's Avalanche layout is any indication, it could very well take a whole month, not leaving me much time to do anything else.
Goal #4: edit my first batch of Kirby's Avalanche runs. And my Falsebound Kingdom runs. And my Mario Golf run. And my second batch of Kirby's Avalanche runs. I'mma need a minute for this. I may need to move the priority up to get it done sooner.
Goal #5: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. I will still want to take time during the week to do all of that instead of stream when I decide to get serious about it. Whether I will be able to get around to it anytime soon remains to be seen.
Goal #6: clean up my own stream layout. I am brainstorming how I want the final theming to be. I probably want to give people multiple options, maybe allow spending bits to change the look. I don't have anything written down yet. I don't expect to get to this anytime soon, but I might need to dedicate time to it to ever get it done.
Goal #7: maybe make a universal LPS broadcast layout. I have a base, but perhaps I should stylize one for the LPS brand. Hopefully I wouldn't over-homogenize it like SpeedGaming did.
Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.
