- This is by no means a comprehensive or "complete" list and is subject to change and additions.
- Yes I could provide far more information simply by linking to manuals or text sites, but that shit is boring to most people and the whole point is to make learning this as easy and accessible as possible.

- "What's a good private browser?"
- This is an argument as old as time. The short answer (as of Jan 9, 2023) is something like Librewolf or some kind of custom Firefox config.

- "I've heard of TAILS, what is that?"
- TAILS or "The Amnesic Incognito Live System" is a live Linux OS that you can flash to a USB drive and gives you one of the most private web browsing experiences available.
- All internet traffic is routed over TOR and when shut down, nothing is saved to the USB drive or the computer it was plugged into (among many other security features)
- It is recommended you use TAILS AS-IS and not modify it or attempt to use it as a daily driver.

- "How do I install Linux?"
- Search online, I could link 300 different videos and still not cover every possibility.
- TIP: Get 2 flash drives, use one to install Linux onto the other so you can play around with a full installation on bare metal without even touching your existing OS in the event you don't like the distro.
- (A Virtual machine is also a decent option, but will not be a *complete* experience as you may need to install proprietary firmware, which a virtual machine will often not need.)

- "Which distribution should I use?"/"Which distribution is the best?"
- The best distro FOR YOU is whichever one you feel most comfortable using and that you are competent with. If you aren't immediately filtered by the installation process, you will likely experience a phase of "distrohopping" before you settle into one that suits your needs.
- This is the whole point of Linux, you can make it your own bespoke experience for whatever you need or want.
- I won't recommend specific distributions, but I can say that the closer you get to the "mainline" distributions, the better the support and development of that distribution will likely be.
