What if a kid come to you with a glass full of piss (urine) and ask for your permission to drink from it?

Would you allow the kid to drink it?

Why not? It's 95% water after all. Moreover it's naturally occurring. It's coming straight out of a beautiful human being. No preservatives. No artificial colour added. Right?

I bet you won't allow it. No sane person would do that. Because it's filthy, it's unnatural and most importantly it's harmful for the kid's body.

No matter how well the kid reason with you, you will not allow it. Because you know what the kid doesn't.

Our body can't take what isn't meant for it, naturally.

Filling the body again with something it just excreted as a waste and forcing it to process the waste again would definitely harm the system.

Similarly, nature has given us a way to procreate. Man and a woman. They mate and they procreate. Their anatomy supports this function. Any deviation from natural path would end up with serious consequences.

Needless to say, homosexual practices breeds not just deadly diseases (STDs) but also have adverse effects on moral values of a society. Especially the right moral upbringing of children.

Islam being a code of life for entire humanity prohibits homosexuality. Allah The Exalted knows what people doesn't. This is why Allah has strictly forbidden such harmful behavior.

Is homosexual conduct harmful?

People often argue as to why Homosexual acts are forbidden in religion when such homosexual tendencies are found in some by birth.

People argue saying, “God has made me like this (Gay)!” “How is it my fault?”

Such people need to understand that having a tendency to do wrong/sin is not a bad thing. Acting upon it is bad.

For instance, humans are natural predators, we have a tendency to kill, by birth.

Therefore a person's temptation to kill someone will not be counted as an offence until the person act upon it and actually kill someone.

Similarly, we may develop some homosexual tendencies but that does not give us the freedom to act upon our wish when it is clearly forbidden by our Creator.

Note that when a ‘straight’ person having little homosexual orientation is given freedom to act according to his will, it is possible that this freedom of action can change the person's sexual orientation completely. So it's better not to encourage any form of homosexual conduct.

This is the reason we find slogans like “Proud to be Gay” in countries where same sex marriage is recently allowed.

And in such countries, we find Men who have spent a large part of their life with their wives and kids, suddenly announce themselves to be Gay.

I mean WTH!! You're 40 with a beautiful wife and 3 kids and now you came to know that you need a man in your bed. Seriously?? :/

Being normal and not encouraging homosexual practices will be in the best interest of our future generations.

Lastly, people must understand that the limits set by Allah The All knowing and The All Wise are for our own benefit.

We humans are benighted souls, Allah has given us a gift of Islam for our own good. It is not just a religion but a complete way of life approved by the Creator himself.
