Syndicate Sabotage!

Event Synopsis

	The lights flicker throughout the station as power begins to fluctuate, red-alarms begin to blare, for a brief moment the artificial gravity goes out and the station's inhabitants begin to free-fall. Then with a shuddering lurch the power stabilizes and the gravity comes back with full force. At first it seems almost as if everything is normal, apart from the alarm still blaring, when an automated voice echoes across the intercomes.

"Security breach in genetics lab 8, security breach in genetics lab 8, containment of specimen 71436 has been breached, begin containment protocols!"

Their world is bathed in the flashing strobe of red as the station's warning systems are in full swing. Now they've no choice but to venture into the depths of the station, weaving through its labyrinthine corridors. Trying to find out what happened and perhaps solve the mystery of the station itself.

The idea is to release EC spider monsters upon the players and cause them to have to fight those spiders. If they make it to gen-lab 8 they can find that someone has caused those monster release and their is a computer with most of its data-files copied and only a few lab-reports left in tact. Of course if the players would need a techy to recover anything useful from the computers. Which could reveal that the station was at one point used by Nanotransen as a secret laboratory!

If things go well I like the idea of an event chain that basically shows the station as some horrid experiment. Basically just making a bunch of scenarios like on SS13. I can see the next event being a mix of indiana jones and the ash primitives event.
