Samurai World One-Shots (3 sessions)

The Rokugani Empire is a land of tradition and honor...yet it is beset with many internal and external enemies. As Emerald Magistrates, you must enforce the Emperor's law, while balancing your personal desires and your social obligations to your clan and Lord. Will you succeed, or will you fail like so many before you?

"Samurai World" is a "Powered By the Apocalypse" hack of "Legend of the Five Rings" (a "fantasy samurai" RPG), inspired by Dungeon World. Players will be sent on one-shot missions throughout Rokugan, featuring mechanics that will make the game easy to learn and understand. This is "drop-in, drop-out", so you can stay for only one session, or play in all three! Join us, as we explore the rules of "Samurai World".

Our sessions will be recorded to help the GM out, but they will not be made public without explicit permission. (Ideally, we can get Google Hangouts to record our sessions for us. However, just in case, please download Audacity to record your audio separately and share it with me after the game is complete.)

"All players are required to be respectful of others and their efforts. This game covers some mature concepts. The X-Card will be in use and enforced. Rokugan is a fantasy setting inspired by eastern culture and myth but does not represent an actual place or people. Regardless, all players are expected to be respectful of other cultures, even when they appear strange or new to both the character and player.
