Michigan has moose

Alexithymiaa: -After taking some shit from Tae about his dinner choices, he decided to give in and head to the cafe today instead of indulging in yet another microwave dinner. He had a half eaten cheeseburger and fries sitting in front of him with a tall glass of root beer, just completely soaking up the one meal he was going to allow himself for the week to eat out since he'd filled the freezer with microwave meals.-
Covet: Tae walked into the Cafe after going to pick up her check and getting it cashed. She was hungry and needed something to take her meds with. She saw Noah when she came in and gave a smirk. "Wow, you do listen to me, that's actually kind of sweet and flattering."
Alexithymiaa: -He looked up from his dinner when he heard her, instantly rolling his eyes. "I do not. I was hungry and I wanted a burger. That has nothing to do with you. None of my food at the house is a burger."-
Covet: "Mhhm, Sure.. sure." Tae said still smug. She looked at the waitress and got herself some chicken strips ordered with some fries, and a milkshake. "If that's what helps you sleep at night, we can go with that."
Alexithymiaa: "I have no trouble sleeping at night. Kind of comes with having an awesome life." He said like a cocky douchebag, picking up a french fry to toss up into the air and catch in his mouth.-
Covet: "Ahh, must be nice." Tae said with a soft smile. "Nice catch, good to know that mouth has some talent." She said teasing him.
Alexithymiaa: "You knew this mouth had some talent, don't pretend like you're surprised." He said as he reached for his burger again, taking another bite.-
Covet: "It's adequate." Tae said with a shrug, taking her milkshake as it was dropped off at the table. "I'm sure you're much more talented in other areas."
Alexithymiaa: "Adequate?" He scoffed, claspign a hand to his heart like he was offended. He was a little offended. "Excuse you. No one asked you. I know I'm good and I dont need you to reassure me. I'm not insecure like that."-
Covet: "And you are terrible at taking a compliment." Tae said rolling her eyes. "So humble." She laughed, amused at his offense, because boys...and their egos...
Alexithymiaa: "I'm great at taking a compliment. Practice makes perfect and obviously I get to practice all the time since I'm awesome." He said with a grin, pulling his soda closer to take a sip. "At least I never said I was humble."-
Covet: "I don't... Your masculinity knows no bounds." Tae said with a laugh as she watched him in all his cocky glory.
Alexithymiaa: "Thank you." He said with a grin, taking another sip of his soda. "So when are you going to take me to your club and meet the rest of your coworkers and watch you dance?"-
Covet: "You're welcome. I think?" She said, then gave a shrug, "When I go back I guess...and when I start dancing? It's kind of put on hold right now, for reasons."
Alexithymiaa: "I know, but I still want to go. Can I drink there?" He asked because when you're underrage, I guess that's a deciding factor of where you go out.-
Covet: "If you have a fake ID? I'm not supposed to drink, but there's always ways around that." Tae said as she started in on her fries when they were put down.
Alexithymiaa: "I have a fake, but it's not very good. I should probably get a new one. The last place I went to here, my cousin took me and she bought me a drink so I didn't even need to use it. Actually, they didn't card at the door either. Place was pretty shitty." He said with a shrug.-
Covet: "It was probably Beer Goggles, that place was a shit hole. But at least ou could drink there without getting caught." Tae said with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "That sounds familiar so that was probably it. My feet were sticking to the floor." He said with a curl of his lip, not wanting to think about what was on that floor. "It was fun though."-
Covet: "Gross, but not surpirsed... lots of things... happen there.. so I'm surprised that was the only sticky surface." She told him because again...gross.
Alexithymiaa: "Well I didnt really touch anything else, so...." He shrugged, finishing off his burger and wiping his hands on a napkin because greasy. "What kind of things happen there? Anything youve seen?"-
Covet: "Seen...done..."Tae told him with a shrug. "Plenty of fights, lots of sex."
Alexithymiaa: "Wow..." He said under his breath, because his bar experiences were fairly limited. "When was this?"-
Covet: "Uh.. with in the last year." She said even more sheepishly. "There's always some sort of a fight on the weekends lots of people, college kids."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, seemed like it. Place was a shithole." He said with a smirk, eating a fry. "If they don't card, we should go back there and hangout."-
Covet: "Yeah, we could probably do that. I guess if you like hanging out in shitholes." Tae said with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: "I like hanging out in places that don't card." He grinned, tossing a fry at her because he was going to make an anal joke and then stopped himself. They were eating.-
Covet: "For obvious reasons, because they have things that we're not supposed to have." She said catching the fry and tossed it back at him.
Alexithymiaa: -He opened his mouth and leaned over to catch the flying food in his mouth, chewing and swallowing. "Isnt that the best though? Things are more fun when you're not supposed to have them."-
Covet: "Oh, it's like feeding the seals in San Francisco." She said grabbing another fry to throw at him. "Yeah I was just about to say that not being able to have something hasn't stopped you so far."
Alexithymiaa: "I think the seals are pickier about what you throw them." He corrected her, taking another fry to eat. "I dont let other people's limitations stop me from getting what I want. I'm determined."-
Covet: "You'd be surprised actually. They are like the stray dogs of the ocean." Tae told him. "Yeah even down to getting your ass kicked apparently."
Alexithymiaa: "I wouldn't know, I've never been." He said with a shrug, leaning back in his seat. "That was different. That had nothing to do with wanting you."-
Covet: "Huh, It's not that far of a drive... if my car wasn't so shitty I'd say we should go. " Tae told him, and raised an eyebrow. "Oh, so you don't want me then."
Alexithymiaa: "If it's anything like Southern Cali, I'd say I'm not missing much." He paused, eyeing her across the table. "That's not what I said. I said they were unrelated."-
Covet: "Nah, it's a lot more foggy than SoCal." Tae said, "It's cooler, and windyish... But it's nice." She told him, then thought about it, "But.. they kind of aren't."
AlexithymiaaAlexithymiaa : "Eh, either way. Other than the surf, I didn't love Cali. I've been other places that were cooler." He reached for his soda again, pausing. "They kind of are. If I saw some random chick getting her ass beat by some dude, I'd still help."-
Covet: "What other places are cooler than California?" She asked him eating more of her food. "Yeah, but would you have slept with her after she told you she had an abusive boyfriend?"
Alexithymiaa: "Texas. Vegas. Michigan." He started to name a few of the places he'd been. "Uh... maybe. Depends if she's hot and cool."-
Covet: "Vegas sounds cool, but Michigan? How is Michigan cool?" She asked him. " Oh, so I'm hot and cool then?"
Alexithymiaa: "Obviously you've never been to Michigan then. There's a lot of wooded areas and it's kind of just a cool place to explore. Everything there looks nice." The closest he will ever get to saying it's pretty there. "Uh, yeah? I thought we established this."-
Covet: "That sounds like... a great place to be killed." Tae said with a laugh. " Hey, sometimes a girl just needs confirmation."
Alexithymiaa: "Eh, not if you're a survivor. And there's a lot of moose. It's kind of cool actually." He smirked, sliding out of the booth. "Well then how about we go confirm how hot and cool you are?"-
Covet: "Lots of moose.. well it's good Michigan has that much going for it." She said with a laugh. "Okay, but only if you're gentle. I'm still really sore." She told him as she started to slide out of the booth leaving the money for her bill and tip.
Alexithymiaa: "I'll see what I can do." He said unsurely even though he had no intentions of being rough with her. He just liked to sound like a snarky asshole. He pulled his wallet out of his pocket, adding his tip to the table before beginning to head out, just assuming he would catch a ride back with her.-
