  3. - Buy 3 X Attacks and 1 extra X Special ($1850 extra) when you shop in Celadon
  4. - On the Elixer menu before Lance, teach Earthquake over Fire Blast
  5. - Do not teach Calm Mind
  6. - Champion fight (assuming typical stats):
  7. > Heracross: Psychic
  8. > Alakazam: X Attack x3, EQ (it has a ~3% chance of using Reflect each turn)
  9. > Tyranitar: EQ
  10. > Gyarados: Psychic+Psychic (it will usually Dragon Dance)
  11. > Arcanine: EQ (82% range w/ 179 Attack, which is average)
  12. > Venusaur: Psychic
  13. - Champion notes:
  14. > Set up the X Special on Alakazam if you can survive a Psychic but not a Hyper Beam (consider sand damage)
  15. > Reflect is really bad on the last or second-to-last turn. Adapt if you get it
  16. > If you have <236 Sp. Attack at L72, X Special + Shock Wave Gyarados and EQ Arcanine (otherwise Venusaur is a range)
