- Imperious was ready for him, using two arms to brace himself on the frame where the transparent shield had been, and then swinging his body out, feet first. The kick caught X in the face and stunned him for a few precious nanokliks. He stumbled back and nearly lost his grip, but fortunately his clawed feet managed to keep him from careening off the ship.
