Radiant Dawn Unit Quick Summary

Micaiah:
--Insanely good Magic, Luck, and Res.
--She's a glass cannon except she doesn't get good speed
--Will die to any non-magic unit attacking, so keep her out of harm's way
--She gets a personal spell, Thani, which one-shots any cavalier or armored knight.
--Well-planned Bonus EXP use is pretty important to bring her speed up.
--Insta-give her the Angelic Robe you get early on

Edward:
--Insane Strength, Skill, and Speed growths
--Easily one of the best units in the game

Leonardo:
-- Not good.  You can train him until his first promotion to Sniper, but I wouldn't go much further than that
-- Gets a personal bow later that's really good, but not enough to turn him into a strong unit.

Nolan:
-- Axe user that gets good skill and speed
-- Reliant on strength level ups to not get weighed down by steel axes

Laura:
-- Staff-locked and starts at level 1
-- She heals your team but can't get much EXP
-- Has good speed but gated by terrible speed caps

Sothe:
-- Pre-promoted unit: He's a good fall-back to have if you're in trouble, but don't let him leech too much XP
-- He opens chests for free and can steal stuff.  Look for steal-able items from the enemies' inventories.

Ilyana:
-- Best availability in the game.

-- Struggles mid game, but hits a stride late game
-- Is literally the only unit who can cast the coolest spell in the game
