Update on University Stuff

Since arriving at University a couple days ago, I've been struggling with multiple issues, and now that I have a good idea of where the administration stands and my plan going forward, I wanted to give everyone a complete update.

First and foremost, I am currently living in a double room with a roommate. Obviously, this is less than ideal, and while he is fairly often out of the room, he goes to sleep extremely early, which makes finding time to stream difficult between classes and not wanting to be rude to him. If I'm going to be able to stream while I'm in this room, I'll have to try and find time immediately after classes to work around his sleep schedule. The goal is to leave this room as soon as possible, and am currently exploring my options. The problem with that is that my University normally bars all students from transferring rooms for the first 2 weeks of the semester. I'm sure there is a reason for this, but it is incredibly frustrating to me as it inhibits my ability to dictate my own stream schedule, as I have to work around my roommate.

As far as getting out of this room goes, I have spent the entire week running around my relatively large campus talking to several people in the administration that I believed could potentially aid my situation. But in the case of the Residential Life offices, I was outright denied a meeting, and the Honors Residential Life employee, while helpful, could not overrule the general office on something like the 2 week rule for no rule switches. What this means is for now I'm basically stuck in this room for at least 1 more week, at which point my options open up again.

What I'm going to attempt to do is switch into a single room on the 12th, but until then I will be attempting to stream starting next week. Stream will likely start a little earlier than what I was doing over the summer, and end a little earlier as well. This whole ordeal has taken the rest of the time I was planning to run 100% during, but since I'm planning to submit All Masks for AGDQ, and submissions open up soon, I will be running that for the foreseeable future. First couple runs will likely be bad because it's a new route, but it's very likely sub 2:30 is realistic with the time this route saves, which will be my immediate goal.
