  1. Subject 0004 - "The Red Car"
  2.
  3. Origin: Man-made
  4.
  5. Threat Level: Delta
  6.
  7. Segment: Special - Garage 42
  8.
  9. Containment Procedure:
  10.
  11. Subject 0004 is to be held within the confines of Garage 42 under a secured tarp. One (1) Tau class guard must be stationed over ten (10) feet away from the Subject at all times to stop any other personnel from wandering within the ten foot radius. Tarp is to never be lifted outside of testing. Any Omicron level personnel testing the Subject must be accompanied by one (1) Tau class guard as well as the original Tau class guard. Any persons seen attempting to enter the vehicle must immediately be terminated without exception. In a case of failure to prevent an Incident concerning Subject 0004 plain-clothed Omega agents must retrieve the vehicle immediately before a civilian incident would occur.
  12.
  13. Description:
  14.
  15. Subject 0004 appears as a bright red 1972 Plymouth Barracuda, which is strange as it was discovered in 19[REDACTED]. Though the Barracuda was later released by Plymouth these future models were proven to be safe and thus not discontinued by Project Lambda. Entering a ten foot radius of the car fills any person with the intense urge to drive the vehicle (See Document A). Those who drive the vehicle accelerate to its top speed and then purposely crash. The Subject will appear extremely damaged and defunct, only to materialize in the same parking lot it was found in twenty-four (24) hours or more after the Incident (See Document B). Eventually the cars creator was found (See Document C).
  16.
  17. Discovery:
  18.
  19. Subject 0004 was discovered after several reports of an advanced vehicle being spotted in [REDACTED], Michigan near the [REDACTED] on four separate occasions. It is assumed that its absence from the parking lot is due to the fact that civilians may have fell victim to it. Omega 86 managed to secure the vehicle from a distance, not approaching it for fear of danger. Initial attempts to secure the car led to the demise of Omega agent 110 (See Document A). All those who saw the vehicle were then detained and their memories wiped in a very costly, citywide sweep by various Omega strike teams as well as the accidental termination of one (1) civilian male and the demotion of Omega 173 to Tau status (See Addendum A-1).
  20.
  21. Document A:
  22.
  23. Omega 86 initially reporting his findings from outside the parking lot, claiming that he was showcasing a new model coming and that no one may approach the car, taking down the names of all those he could. Though this proved to be ineffective in general, Omega 80 was still commended for his approach. Once Omega 110 arrived and approached the vehicle he took off, crashing and being killed in the process. The remains were retrieved by Omega agents and shipped to the nearest Holding Facility for transport to the Lambda Facility. However, these remains vanished and reappeared in the same parking lot it was found in, where it disappeared once more after being spotted again by Omega 86. Unfortunately news began to circulate about this new "supercar" which resulted in a city-wide sweep under the cover of a new vaccination for a "previously unknown disease". Those that willingly came to the vaccination centers were detained. Those that were not were poisoned via a contained air contamination and detained from the hospital after being treated. One (1) accidental fatality occurred during this otherwise successful sweep (See Addendum A-1). Subject 0004 was then recovered by remote controlled mobile transport units and stored in Garage 42. Testing has been limited since, mostly done via remote control. Citizens were released back into the general public soon after, all successfully memory wiped.
  24.
  25. Addendum A-1:
  26.
  27. One incident occurred during the sweep when Omega 173 entered the home of the [REDACTED] family [REDACTED]. Omega 173, posing as a police officer, attempted to forcefully bring the sick [REDACTED] to a nearby hospital when [REDACTED] revealed a [REDACTED] handgun. Omega 173 accidentally discharged his own weapon instead of incapacitating the man. The man's family was implanted with the false memory of a car accident involving the man and their vehicle, a [REDACTED] was destroyed. The cover-up was a success.
  28.
  29. Document B (Test 0000-0162):
  30.
  31. Rho 59 was instructed to approach the vehicle, with Omega 86 and 230 monitoring the parking lot of origin. Rho 59 did as asked and immediately entered the vehicle, even when not instructed. Garage 42 was opened and, as expected, Rho 59 accelerated and smashed the car straight into the far wall (causing $[REDACTED] in damage]. The car was retrieved and placed in a special containment bin. Twenty-four (24) hours passed and the vehicle still had not appeared in the parking lot. When Tau 145 and Tau 190 checked the bin they found the car's remains still laying within. After sixty (60) hours the Facility received a call that both Omega 86 and 230 took their eyes off the parking lot for only a moment, looking back to find the car materialized there in their absence. The Tau class guards checked the container and found no trace of the Subject. The car was retrieved quickly and transported back to Garage 42.
  32.
  33. Document C (Incident Report 104):
  34.
  35. Omega agents eventually managed to track down the maker of Subject 0004. [REDACTED], a former, disgruntled employee of Plymouth. Unfortunately, he was found hanging and partially decayed. [REDACTED] committed suicide approximately fourteen (14) days before discovery by Omega agents. Investigation of his home found strange books and writings of curses and [REDACTED]. In the master bedroom, Omega agents found [REDACTED] in the closet and [REDACTED] when it [REDACTED]. All data of this instance was copied to Security Clearance VIII. [REDACTED]'s corpse was transported to [REDACTED] alongside the books and loose parchment. Analysis moved to Security Clearance VIII.
