  1. Can't say accurately but between 8-11 months.
  2.
  3. I've never been handed out a ban before nor do I have the intention of ever getting banned
  4.
  5. I've never been blacklisted in police nor is that my intention.
  6.
  7. About me.
  8. Well, I'm Expired Pancake a simple guy. Currently in HR as medics I intend to do great things for the NHS. Besides that, I'm a 20 year old guy I live a pretty standard life style, enjoy my fairshare of video games in my spare time love a casual beer here and there. enjoy communicating with others.
  9. I am heavily into paperwork, I love doing it. It's my second nature really, I love writing long extensive letters aswell.
  10.
  11. Character Roleplay Background.
  12. Alright so, I'm from Tanoa .And I used to live in a small place called GeorgeTown where I used to fish everyday, I lived for fishing. It was when I dreamed about it's what I spend my physical time doing. The town I lived in wasn't too wealthy lets put it that way, so naturally I went out of my way to find methods of making
  13. some extra cash so I could not only provide for myself but also for my family, and friends. And people in the town, whether I knew them or not cause I knew one day I'd have enough money saved up so I can finally afford a boat trip to Altis, the island where dreams are made a reality.
  14. Fast forward three years of fishing, transporting the fish on the byicle I made out of bamboo and car tires, long story. Maybe one day I'll explain you how I managed that, or at least how my uncle managed that. I have finally saved up enough money to not only get myself a ticket but my family a ticket
  15. a one way ticket to Altis, now obviously I had some plans planned up ahead because I can't just rock up to an island and expect everything to go my way, I got access to a radio whilst I was in Tanoa constantly looking for frequency's that were mainly used in Altis, I found one finally and I met a nice guy
  16. called Peter. Peter sounded like a decent guy, always had stories to tell about the Stratis war, he's a veteran from Stratis. At least he claims he is. I'm getting side tracked, let me continue my story. I started talking to him about how I finally saved up enough money to go to Altis with my family
  17. I had a plan but I didn't know how to execute it, luckily Peter has been around Altis for a while and obviously has made friends out there. He knows a guy that has a few spare rooms in his house and he didn't mind renting them out for a small price. Of course I took the first oppertunity I had, so.
  18. The next day I wake up at 7:30, we woke up late so me and my parents had to hurry to the air strip and there it was a rusty yet beautiful ceaser. We hopped in, the pilot checked the plane before take off and there we are. We're in the sky, and the pilot asked if we wanted one more spin around Tanoa
  19. to say our final goodbye of course. And then we realized we haven't told anyone we were leaving today, they knew we were leaving at one point. Just not when, we didn't say our final good bye's ! Gosh darnit, and it'd be out of my budget or at least not in the planned budget to return to say goodbye.
  20. Hopefully I have the chance to write them a letter when I reach Altis. Finally nearing the airport, it's been quite the trip it's getting slightly tinted dark out so the airstrip in Athira is fully lit up. Beautiful sight, we land and there he is Peter the man that's gonna help me and my parents make our dream come true.
  21. I came to Altis so I can finally join the police force and mean something for civilians that are getting harmed without any protection to provide for themselves. Peter introduced us to Markus and we hopped in the vehicle of Markus beautiful SUV the new blocked edition, and we thank Peter again.
  22. We went away, after shaking our final goodbye, we told Peter that we'll link up tomorrow seeing that we still have to get settled and I still have to ask for an application form at the police station is Kavala. We arive at Markus's home, beautiful two story home. Bigger than 4 of the houses combined from Tanoa!
  23. I asked Markus if he could guide me to the police station and he said of course we'll go on foot though, it's only 400 meters away. Not worth wasting the gas over he said, so we took our coats. Put on a nice hat, and we were off to the police station. Finally upon arrival I met a nice sergeant at the front desk.
  24. I asked him if I could have a application form so I could make an attempt to join the police force of Altis, and he said sure give me a minute. And well, now I'm here trying to make my dream come true.
  25.
  26. Why do you want to join the police force
  27.
  28. I would like to join the police force for multiple reasons, one mainly being the reason Academy is back, I always wanted academy to come back after PTO was implented and it finally did. So that was a big motivation for me to want to join cops, further down the line. I want to join cops because of the fact that
  29. I finally am through with rebel life, I don't enjoy it anymore. And I did always enjoy my work as a police officer, and seeing that the majority of 39th joined cops and I didn't I stayed as a rebel whilst they all joined. I will be regrouped with some of the old pals, which will make it very enjoyable for me to play as a cop.
  30. Plus I like all the roleplay police gets, whether it's traffic stops, checkpoints at busy points in the highways. Drug busts, or just casually protecting citizens and being thanked for it. It's always a rewarding feeling that you get when you know you've made someone's day because you helped them out. I've missed that feeling.
  31. And the general duty a officer is there to uphold is what I very much enjoy personally aswell. Besides that, I miss the overal interaction with civilians as an officer, as a rebel people tend to be more careful ( which I don't blame them ) But being able to talk to civilians and them knowing that you're there for a good purpose.
  32. That they know that they actually have a voice and that they're listened to. That's personally one of the best things I've experienced in ArmA and I've honestly missed that feeling.
  33.
  34. Please explain how you will work to make Altis a safer place
  35.
  36. I will make Altis a safer place by, being the best officer I can possibly be. Constantly patrolling around the entire island, making sure that no illegal activity is being done, at least not succesfully that is. I will constantly be watching the roads for speeders and making sure that they get dealth with accordingly to the handbook.
  37. I will be watching out for all forms of crime and stop for nothing to make sure that I do my job as an officer to prevent crime from happening in general, you see. Obviously firearms are a choice, but if you just talk with people you can get a lot sorted out without guns being a requirement. Which is what a lot of people tend
  38. to forget now-a-days. I can and have proven this in the past that I can solve situations against rebels with firearms without having a firearm on me at all. They just want mutual respect, at least most of the time. They want to see that you're not there to make an attempt to end their lives. You're there cause you're just another
  39. civilian that has a job to do. Just like they most likely are forced into the live of crime due to the legal life being filled up with other people and there being no business for them.
