My story takes place in a timeline
In which I stayed true and persisted
To understand through an experiment
How and why Pinkie Sense, well, existed

So I, Twilight Sparkle, stayed up day and night
Observing her brainwaves from fear to delight
’Til the data at last gave our first insight
And then my perspective was twisted


I couldn’t believe what I’d perceived
Until I awoke in the morning
Her futures would unfold like a tale long-told
A realisation was dawning

She broke through the walls of time with falls
She predicted in her ascension
In other words, with glee, she quite literally
Went to another dimension ~


She told me when she was a filly
The earth and the rocks would surround her
To ground her, to keep her away from the sky
’Til the rainbow smiled

Her magical powers came easy
To walk cross the world in a second
Because there is nowhere that she wouldn’t go
To be with her friends

So I had to pick up the pieces
And put my discovery together
But I couldn’t face the conclusion
So I reached the end of my tether

So I think I’ll be
Like her, full of glee

She’s off on her way to make your day
With a smile, a song, and a present
And she will be there soon, come the sun or moon
She bends through space like a crescent

My life quickly changed when Pinkie’s strange powers
Blew my mind into laughter
‘Cause we know the earth is round, there’s no up or down
And no before or an after!

For friendship transcends all of space and all time
It draws and unites us, it seals and it binds
And that’s why I think I am losing my mind
I can’t quite believe that I missed it

When Pinkie can tell you that something will fall
The same thing occurs when she walks through a wall
She’s everywhere and every when, every all
My theory was made unassisted

Though Applejack tells me I’m twisted
But how else could it have existed?
