Go badge hunting, possibly end up in trouble with Team Whoeverisinarea, do the world tourny circuit a few times, doing reasonably well on the first try, but missing out on opening the second time due to being on the other side of the region. The third time around I make it to semifinals. My last attempt before the end of the ten year cycle ends with me in the finals, barely winning by Judge's Choice.

Probably won't bump into Ash and Co, but that's cool. I've got my own friends from town, friendly rival, that one person who we may both crush on eachother but just don't get it. We'll eventually hook up near the end of the time frame, having a solid four years of a relationship thanks to the rest of our friends. As I feel the hour approach, I explain at least that I'm going on a trip, alone, and I'm not sure when, or even if, I'll be back, and they reply that they will wait as long as they have to. We spend the last few hours together before I move off into a nearby forest, a bright light flashing through it to signal that I have left continue my chain.
