  29. This is worded kind of strangely, don't you think? Since when does the military "execute" the transfer of power following a presidential election? Domestic political races are supposed to be legislative & civilian. It seems to me that the "orderly transition of power" which Kaleigh & POTUS (&DoD) are speaking of, is the transition from a civilian to a military government. This knocks out Pence, Pelosi, & Grassley. Pompeo becomes temporary POTUS; acting DoD Sec. Christopher Miller made veep. That leaves Ezra Cohen as new acting DoD Sec. All military, perfectly placed to assume power. Order of succession was recently updated (just a few weeks ago).
