  1. It’s time to register for another exciting semester with Prince George’s Community College’s Dual Enrollment Program!

  3. To participate in the Spring 2018 semester:
  4. 1. Review the Dual Enrollment Program details on the PGCPS website: http://www1.pgcps.org/dualenrollment/
  5. The PGCC tab has a list of “dual credit” courses that will satisfy the requirements towards high school graduation. All other courses are for college credit only.
  6. 2. To explore courses, please visit www.pgcc.edu and click “College Catalog” at the bottom of the screen. Click a tab on the left under “Academic Programs and Courses” such as: Programs of Study, Course Descriptions, or General Education. From any screen, click on the name of a course to view its description and prerequisite requirements.
  7. 3. To view the course offerings for the Spring 2018 semester, please visit www.pgcc.edu and click “Owl Link” at the top of the screen.
  8. o Then, select the blue “Credit Students” button from the menu on the right
  9. o Scroll down and click “Additional Search Options”
  10. o Select Spring 2018 from the drop down menu and enter the information to search for your desired courses
  11. o Click submit and view results
  12. Course options and details will be available beginning October 30, 2017.
  13. 4. Meet with your PGCPS professional school counselor to discuss course selection and to complete a Dual Enrollment Form for spring registration by November 15, 2017.
  14. Please note, if you have not taken courses at PGCC before, you will also need to submit a high school transcript.

  17. When completing the Dual Enrollment Form, remember:

  19. a. The form must be completed with your professional school counselor, and signed by you, your parent, counselor, and principal for approval.
  20. b. Include PGCC COURSE, SECTION Number, and SYNONYM Number (Example: MAT-1350, LD06, 98716)
  21. c. Indicate a second course and/or section option in case first section is full.

  23. If approved, you will receive an email to your PGCPS email address stating that you are approved to register for courses online, along with further registration instructions. You may not register yourself for classes until you receive the approval email.
  24. If you have any questions concerning the application process please contact MDCompletionAct@pgcc.edu or dual.enrollment@pgcps.org or your PGCPS professional school counselor.
