- Nerin says, "Remei."
- Remei says, ".."
- Remei asks, "Yeth?"
- Marísol peers to Remei from behind Nerin. She remains terribly passive.
- (Marísol)
- There would be time for this. For when he's heard such things from Melora, when he's investigated further, and when he saw her run off with Yuri despite having opportunity to leave.. he imagines that this would become something that they'd speak on again- but unfortunately, not back then, for he only had this much strength.
- "I'll be direct."
- "Quite frankly, I don't buy your grievance for my brother- and as far as I'm aware, you've been part of this, whether directly or indirectly."
- "And even worst.. you've slept with the enemy."
- Truth or lie, that is something he'll discover. Yet, he steps over, with entirely different intent in his eyes- with the gaze that steadily darkens, as if there's an entirely different hold onto him, as if there's a tunnel vision in his eyes - and she becomes the only end to his means.
- "What is your relationship with Cameo and Melora?"
- Yet, he's calculated in this manner- he knows that it's best to check things first.. and purposefully, he does not tell her what he already knows - aside of initial accusations. For while she may speak of different things..
- Something may contradict.
- Only exposing faulty answer.
- (Nerin)
- It wasn't that they'd run off with her. It was more a matter of just not moving as the injured ookami all but dragged them along. But then, in the heat of the moment, it was hard to distinguish either way.
- That much, they could forgive.
- What they found absolutely awful was the presumption their grief over Actaeon's death was a farce. The little drakanite's wings shifted behind them, curling in from their splayed out position, to tuck beneath the tattered and charred cloak of the order.
- Actaeon's cloak. What they'd kept, in place of the badge that he'd been given. They tugged it tighter around their shoulders as they got to their feet on the stone slab.
- And they turned toward him. Bloodshot eyes focused on his face. Their expression said little, but there was already a glisten in their eyes. "I can appreciate a direct approach. Usually.
- I won't lie. I won't lie that I did, at one point, love Melora. That I did thleep with her. Before she wath a member of the Thyndicate. Before she became a monthter." Their choice of words was incredibly calm, but their tone wavered.
- They were rightly nervous, knowing how the city watch had treated them before. Knowing they were innocent before, and yet had been imprisoned due to Cameo's work in framing them. They could only assume the order could do worse.
- That he could do worse to them.
- "She broke my heart when she had Yuri put a piethe of it in the ground. She wath the one who made that thtupid wolf kill him.. And I can't forgive her for what she did." That about summed up their relationship with her, about as concisely as they could manage it. Even if they didn't have words strong enough to describe their utter hatred for her.
- Their relationship with Cameo was less complicated, as far as they were concerned. "Cameo hateth me. Or.. Hated me?
- When we were younger I methed up. Made him angry. Tried to apologithe. He ripped my tongue out and got me punished while he got off thcot free. Later, when he got the chanthe, he kidnapped me.
- He uthed me like a living garden. Grew plantth into my thkin. Tortured me day and night, didn't let me thleep for the longetht time. A perthonal grudge, he uthed hith new power in the Thyndicate to carry out 'revenge.' Then.." And this was the important part. Their voice trailed off, as their gaze fell to the ground.
- Their clawed fingers curled tighter around the edges of Actaeon's cloak. "Then he.. forgave me. Becauthe I thuthed out thome traitorth in the Thyndicate.. A.. an occultitht called Agnimathud. He wath going to try and break me out.
- I wath forthed to fight him, with that thame magic that made you go mad. And.. He wath killed..
- Tho I wath forgiven. Let go. I wath allowed to bury Actaeon. Now I jutht.. I jutht want to grieve in peathe, Nerin."
- (Remei)
- You spot
- Phobos nearby! [Click to pursue] **
- ** You spot
- Marísol nearby! [Click to pursue] **
- ** You are attempting to pursue Phobos...! **
- ** You roll a Pursue score of 2953 against Phobos! **
- ** Phobos has rolled a Flee score of 2593! **
- You have rolled higher than Phobos; you will catch up to them! You will find them 3 tiles to the west.
- "...Then why did you run off with Yuri? Why did you let her carry you away, when she was weakened - when she could no longer fight back?"
- Nerin isn't so easily convinced. As much as one could explain themselves, and even be truthful.. some things just don't add up; if anything, he imagines that this could be another endeavour in which he's fooled- and as much as Yuri has gone missing as of late, and presumably even dead.. there were still targets on his list.
- Melora.
- Cameo.
- Both guilty of his brother's death, and both someone whom he would see dead - and would never rest until he actually gets to them. Though.. if there's anything that he knows? It's the fact that it's not as simple as he might think- for while Melora could be found on the outside..
- The likes of Cameo are rarely seen.
- It's almost as if he's acoward. For he never heard of the man leave Moonfall or encounter anyone- he's never heard of the man participate in any peculiar raid. It is almost as if he hides.. almost as if he's been warned of Nerin's wrath, of the impeding doom that he would bring upon his head. And yet..
- "That is not what Melora has said, Remei."
- "She said that you're still in ties with her. She said that the lot of you still meet one another- that the lot of you are still affiliated with Cameo closely, including you."
- "Which served a reason for your forgiveness."
- It's rather clear that he doesn't buy it easily. Instead.. as much as he intended to advance closer to the drakanite - a new target catches his eyes.
- Phobos.
- He was on the raid..
- An immediate intense, blue flame sparks up all around him- even far more potent than that of any ordinary Energy magi. A single shot is fired towards Phobos- one to his legs, intending to bind him temporarily - long enough for Nerin to catch up.
- "...Do not leave, Remei. This conversation is not over."
- His gaze turns towards Phobos. Here, as he makes his approach, he speaks out.
- "And where do you think you are going?"
- It is a bad..
- Bad time to meet Nerin.
- (Nerin)
- "..."
- Although her sin is infidelity, she cannot blame Reimei for the things that had happened between her and the others. The truth of the matter is that she had heard so many different version of the story...That she remained terribly uncertain as to how everything had occurred. But when she hears it from Remei's own mouth...She finds that this is rather difficult for her to judge. Especially, since she technically 'did' kill an innocent man for her freedom...
- Which didn't make her right any wrong.
- Instead, the woman would do nothing more than shake her head.
- "-I'm sorry that you had to go through such a thing. To hear that the way that they treated you...To hear the way that they made you feel...The torture, the pain. It is unforgiveable." She pausessilently, her gaze drifting elsewhere..
- "You are a person of question...However, I would suggest that you go back to the city to speak with the other exarchs." She adds, her vermillion gaze drifting elsewhere. "If you follow protocol, I can make certain that they won't kill you. I'll keep you away from Eustace...We can fix the problem with your tongue too...But you just have to comply." However...
- Such words would soon fall upon silent lips as the woman would suddenly 'vanish' from infront of those around. With the bending and refracting of light...A myriad of colors would soon flourish infront of the body of Phobos…
- "Hello there- Do you remember me? I remember you." After all, how could she have possibly forgotten?
- "-I'll handle this one, Nerin."
- (Marísol)
- He strayed a long way from home.
- Shoot!
- Standing before not one, but two titans. World super powers even. Marisol, Nerin. The pressure in this area was high. Some of the most powerful beings he has ever witnessed. Still Phobos and fear have no relation, they would begin to see just how clueless this young man is.
- There was not a care in the world he didn't sense the danger from these people. You could call it bravery, idiocy, many things! Phobos didn't know what to call how he felt in this situation. If there was any way he could describe it, excitement would fit best.
- He stops before the woman who crosses his path. He doesn't even try to run, no. This could be fun, he likes fun. "Woooow! So cool! It's you!" He sounded like fan almost. The young man was so bubbly, and full of energy. His eyes were glowing a dim blue, he could see all sorts of spirits floating about.
- This was quite the active area! "The spirits... The spirits! They're having an uproar this is amazing!" He glances to the side, only to see Nerin! Another powerful person. "Woooah! You're pretty too! This- this..!" He had to stop talking to catch his breath. After all he just finished running. Hands clasps his knees as he breaths heavily.
- "Phew. Phew. Phew."
- He perks back up, closing the distance between himself and Marisol. Getting extra close. Hands get all grabby as he reaches out to grab hold of her face, non threatening at all. "Wooow! You're real! So..! What's up? Do you want to talk?"
- (Phobos)
- "..."
- This was not the time for jokes. Nor Nerin was in the mood for them.. for ever since he's lost his brother, he chose the path in which all of those affiliated with Moonfall one way or another were to be involved- that there is no such thing as innocent among them.. only varying degrees of guilt.
- And he will use any means necessary.
- Any means to reach the two targets.
- "Boy. Enough of this."
- For where he tries to reach out to grasp at her face, the sudden ivory color rushes past. It cuts into his fingers, perhaps opening a small, bleeding wound.. and if they were to look both ways - they'd see Nerin with his hand raised, and the bone blade protruding. That was one of the blades..
- One of the bone blades..
- One that almost slashed his hand open.
- It would seem that it's done as retaliation in the attempt to reach out towards Marisol's face, or in fact, getting close like this- it's rather clear that even a single step forward like this would prompt the man to already attack.
- For he's low on patience, and it's only running thinner. And yet..
- "--I want him in, Marisol. Any bargaining chip or information is useful. Even if he's useful for neither, then that's one less Moonfaller fighting for them."
- His gaze drifts towards drakanite. She was terribly silent this whole time, was she not?
- "Go on, Remei. I'm awaiting explanation."
- Even as he talks to the woman.. it doesn't mean all of his attention from scenery with Phobos and Marisol is gone- if anything, he glances over at them occasionally, even going as far as to listen in.
- (Nerin)
- This one is strange.
- She remained wholly curious of his performance, especially since he was one of the ones who attacked relentlessly during the battle between himself, her, Elijah, and his friends. Either way...If there was something that she couldn't forgive...It was the dishonor within the battle. And most certainly, the Ookami that had bitten her after the lot of them stabbed, brutalized, and crushed her beneath the weight of their own mana. Regardless though...
- "..." She knows very little of what he sees. She knows very little of the color within his world...However, when he reaches towards her features...It seems that Nerin would have stopped him before she could.
- "In many cases, yes, I would like to...But in this one, I believe that there's something that I have to do with you first." She adds while beginning to shift in place- taking a single step back..
- "There is someone of interest in moonfall. And you...Are of interest to me. Prostrate yourself and make this easy, otherwise, I'm afraid that I cannot be so certain of your fate afterwards." And while Nerin wanted to interfere...
- She necessarily wouldn't have allowed him to.
- Why? Because this is simply between herself and Phobos. "Don't worry, Nerin. I'll get him. Just handle your business and I'll handle mine...Besides, I owe him a few hits anyway."
- (Marísol)
- They were quiet for the time being, given the mild intrusion. But as Nerin turned toward them again? The little drakanite shifted in place, as they thought over all that had been said.
- The threat in his tone. The assurances Marisol offered. Between the two they still felt it was likely they'd be in for a world of hurt. That they'd be caught on the wrong side of the law, again. "I w-wath thcared.. And..
- And he h-had thomething of mine, thtill." Better to tell the truth rather than weave a web of lies. It was easier to untangle the truth.
- "He thtill had my thtaff. It hath thentimental v-value.. and.. And he thaid he'd only g-give it back if he thought he c-could trutht me. Tho.. Tho I h-had to go back. But.. But I'm here now. I don't have any reathon to go back to them." None whatsoever. In fact, they had more than enough reason to stay thehell away from them.
- Those people were the reason their life was so unsettled, now. If they returned for anything it would have to be to get revenge for Actaeon's death. "And.. Melora'th a monthter. She'th obthethed with me, want.. wantth me to love her, thtill, even after she got Actaeon k-killed..
- Tho of courthe she'd thay that. Of courthe she'd lie to try and forthe me away from the thity. Forthe me to hide." There was a genuine irritation in their tone, now. A faint hiss that came along with each word as they imagined just what she'd said.
- How badly had she screwed their life up this time?
- "I'm willing to t-talk to anyone you need me to, to clear thith up.. I jutht.. I'm thtill terrified. I've been burned before by the l-law of Othrona.. And if the Thyndicate people think I'm giving out information on them- They'll come after me again.
- You.. you thee the thort of predicament I'm in.."
- (Remei)
- The things she says..
- There's something that clicks in his mind, but.. this is no time or place to say such things, if anything, where she exclaims that she would rather have vengeance for Actaeon's death.. it is something that he believes to be entirely truthful- something that he understand she might as well mean. If anything..
- What other reason did she have?
- "..Hrm."
- It comes about as an idle, drawn out hum; and while Marisol seems to be handling Phobos, he speaks out rather clear to Remei- something that she may be actually interested in.
- "Come with me, then."
- "I am an Exarch now - and so long as I say that I have a need of you, so long as I say that you're under my protection, nobody will touch you." The same happened with one certain person in the past.. and while they actually attacked people of Osrona, due to their cooperation, they walk free now.
- "But I need you, and you will be told how so - away from here." A pause. "I understand you have no reasons to think I'll be merciful, but you can have my word."
- "Nothing bad will happen to you, and all will be forgiven despite the shady history you have - the shady history that could get you killed, so long as you cooperate."
- "Or flee and refuse. Not only it will get worse, but you will not have what you want."
- It should be an easy, obvious choice.. if anything, what he offers to her is an easy resolution to her woes - and to clear her name while at it.
- Surely, it's better to comply?
- (Nerin)
- Prostrate? Phobos may have a 'dainty' appearance, but he is in no way a beta male. He would never prostrate himself before anyone. He just wasn't born this way. He made sure to listen close, if she were to be paying attention she'd notice that Phobos looked more like a child in class, rather than a warrior.
- There was a lot about him that was different. It was like he didn't make any sense at all. "What does prostrate even mean?" He asks. Which is a real question, he doesn't even know what that meant. The act was foreign, and even if he did like explained. He wouldn't. "Someone of interest? Really? Oh! Oh! Is it that girl? Hmm. They'll probably kill her pretty soon anyways."
- He yawns. "As boring as that is." Killing. He still didn't quite understand why, he couldn't grasp the idea of killing someone yet. It was like burning a book. There is so much from a single life that everyone can learn from, and ending it is almost like taking away knowledge from everyone else. Selfish! Then again the dark lord requires sacrifice. Phobos was still pretty torn up about it all. It was hard to make sense of it.
- "Sorry! I can't do that, prostrate myself. No. I don't know what I can do to help you honestly. And, while I am pretty uh, clueless. I know that my death is inevitable if I freely walk with you. Which again, is unfortunate."
- He refuses.
- There were many reasons why, and he'd stated a few. "Besides! My life has no worth anyways. Killing me is like chopping a tree down. It'll be replaced." He smiles at the thought, and it wasn't genuine. It was painful really. He knew deep, deep down inside that there was no worth, no love, nothing. But he woke up everyday to hope to finally understand, and cope with these issues properly.
- "We can continue talking though. If that's what you wanna do! Go on! Ask me somethin' there's a 85% chance that I will tell you a lie."
- (Phobos)
- Normally, she wouldn't be keen on getting even with someone- especially, since she believed that revenge is a dish that shouldn't be served. However, she was terribly, terribly curious of the things that she could do. And perhaps, she imagined that she could be just as much of a threat as anyone else that within the knights. However...In this case, she desired to simply do what the others couldn't.
- Obtain a bargaining chip for the likes of Sophie.
- And if they don't comply? Then perhaps, she'll attempt to do much, much more than that. Regardless...The woman steps forth within the direction of Phobos- a gentle frown appearing on her features. "I don't believe that they'll kill her. If that were the case, then Yuri Dojin wouldn't have told me the news before then.." However...
- He's right.
- Killing is boring.
- "I don't think that you should really...Count your death as inevitable. After all, there are ways to fix occultists like you without having to kill." She adds with a gentle shake of the head. "I can rid you of your ailment with time and effort...So long as you act right and will it, I suppose." She remains wholly curious, but...
- It seems that she was still intent on capturing this one. "If it helps you-...Know that I won't be killing you. But...I will be trying to restrain you, so please.." She says while placing her staff upon the ground, her frown deepening.
- "Prepare yourself for battle- I'm afraid I don't want to talk if you're going to tell me a lie. Instead...I'd rather get the truth immediately." No more chances though....For the gentle ball of light gathering within her hand gives him more than enough time to dodge her blast.
- After all, she'd rather fight fair. Than dirty.
- (Marísol)
- It was like choosing between lying on a bed of broken hypodermic needles or trying to run from that to hide in a den of snakes and scorpions. Remei didn't like either choice. Knowing what they knew, the fear they felt was very, very reasonable.
- But in the moment it was life or death. They walked the razor's edge. The little drakanite bit down on the inside of their cheek, sharp teeth near enough drawing blood.
- The choice should be obvious. Simple. Still their mind raced with all the possible outcomes of either side. If they ran now and managed to make it out they'd be running for the rest of their life. If they went with him they had no certainty beyond his word that they would come out of it alive.
- Both were unpleasant choices..
- "I.. I c-can do that. I'll.. I'll c-come with you. And I'll ekthplain th-thingth.. and.." And they made no promises about helping him, since they didn't know exactly what he wanted yet. It was never a smart move to promise assistance without knowing first.
- So they left it at that. They chose the latter, because in the end- That was the option that was most likely to leave them in peace afterwards. They could return to guarding the graves. Return to mourning in peace.
- Besides. They weren't particularly quick. Running would likely end in a fight, and they didn't want to see the aftermath of a fight in their graveyard again. "I'm n-not going to run.."
- (Remei)
- "Think what you want I guess." Phobos probably had a very warped view of his own people. They were all very murderous, he didn't care, but it was boring usually. He was certain that she'd die, not to mention Jingle herself had already spoken about things. Not his business to tell though, and so he wouldn't.
- It's just not in his nature to tell. He doesn't do that sort of thing. "I don't believe you, all you guys do is kill each other. Someone from home kills your brother, then you kill their master so they respond by killing your friends and so on and so forth. Very uh... I guess sad? If you guys even care. I don't really have anybody that I care about so it's all just a blur! Lalalala!~ Crazy?! Right!?"
- He explains his views on the happenings and such. It was clear that there was evident distain for the state of the world. Phobos himself always doing everything on a whim. Following orders because he has to, and hoping to seek approval from his brother. The only person he's formed a real bond with.
- "You say that you can cure me, but I'm not sick. Unless you think that because of my extreme ignorance I have some sort of aliment." He pauses for a moment folding his arms, using an index finger and thumb to cup his chin while he thinks. "That's very disrespectful to the people who actually suffer from mental illness. You should apologize-- nah never mind you're too cool for that!"
- He was shocked?
- Yes. This was the first time he felt such a feeling as she was preparing for battle in the midst of their conversation. Eyes open wide as she begins to gather up light mana- magic- whatever. "Oh jeez! This is what we're doing now?" He sighs.
- His staff being pulled from his back as he takes a few breaths. "I won't win, I know, but to not try would be disrespectful to the few people that do notice me."
- That light ball was ready to be parried as occult flames ignite!
- (Phobos)
- It is a wise decision. One that would, at the very least, ensure that Remei would actually live to tell the tale, but.. when she agrees, in the end, he could only smile; yet, there was a certain assurance to be made, one that involved watching the outcome for Marisol's fight.
- "Very well. We'll speak inside of the chapel in a bit."
- "For now, stick to me."
- With such request made, he turns to observe the fighting between Marisol and Phobos, rather mindful of what the two are capable of. It would seem the conversation between them has to wait.
- (Nerin)
- Nerin says, "--Marisol. We'll be inside the chapel."
- Nerin throws the side commentary once the battle seems to have concluded.. since he watched otherwise.
- (Nerin)
- He's known this to be important. At the very least, to him; and as much as they walk towards the chapel, there's immediately something on his mind - something that Remei might actually catch onto. If anything, this is something that she could actually expect the moment he offered her to come along..
- "..I'll be entirely honest."
- "I'm displeased to hear that you even associated with such people in the first place, but you're not the one who killed my brother - whatever I may disapprove or dislike is irrelevant."
- "My targets are Cameo and Melora. Yuri, it appears, is already gone, for I've heard that her helmet was brought out by Robin. Which implies that Yuri is, most likely, dead."
- A pause. It's not too long before he asks something peculiar.. something that could make her understand what this is about.
- "Just how much Melora is obsessed about you?"
- "Is she obsessed enough to agree to a meeting, or try and see you? Perhaps, because you're afraid of the Order? Perhaps because you'd like to re-unite, now that Yuri is gone?"
- Obviously a ruse against Melora, but..
- Anything to avenge Actaeon.
- (Nerin)
- "I.. I f-fell in love with Mel before she went to them.. I didn't know she'd e-end up like.. like that.."
- It felt like he was blaming them. Like they were supposed to know beforehand, somehow, that she'd end up with the Syndicate. Like they were meant to be omnipotent or something.
- But they didn't argue the point. They didn't want to provoke anything further. So they listened instead, and slowly put together just what sort of plan he was concocting. Their head tilted to one side, eyes narrowed thin as they thought it over.
- Oh that would be so damn good. If he intended to do what they thought he did. But.. "She'd p-probably think it wath thuthpiciouth. If I thuddenly athked her to.. meet up, thomewhere. If I told her I w-wanted to get with her again.
- I.. t-told her she detherveththe d-deepeth pitth of Helheim.. That nothing she wantth sh-should ever be given to her. Tho.." If she were suddenly to turn around on that and ask her to meet up somewhere?
- Only a fool would fall for that.
- Maybe an insane person.. Maybe. But the most likely result would probably be them getting crushed by gravity magic. "I don't know if that'd be.. viable?"
- (Remei)
- It's true enough, only a fool could potentially fall for that. If anything.. he feels that this could be terribly suspicious- especially with the way that Remei words it. If anything.. he believes that this could be rather quaint and expose her, but..
- At the same time, what do they really have to lose?
- "Perhaps."
- "Do you have anything that could lure her out? Or any reasoning that you could actually use to 'reunite' with her? Perhaps.. something that Order could be blamed for - and something that you could even blame on me?"
- "Say that I came for you." A pause.
- "Say that I tried to kill you before she spoke to me during the raid about your 'involvement', and that you're no longer safe at the Chapel. In other words.. blame me for all of this, and say that you cannot stay here anymore."
- "Considering her hatred for me? This might actually work."
- Though.. in the end? This is something that he had to ask of drakanite.
- "What do you think of it?"
- (Nerin)
- "Mh.. M-maybe.." Their tone was utterly uncertain. The little drakanite shifted their weight where they stood, a glance spared over their shoulder. A light frown tugged at the corners of their lips.
- They couldn't think of any reason what-so-ever that they'd ever want to get back with Melora. So trying to come up with a lie was difficult, if not nigh impossible.. And if that lie failed, or if Nerin failed to catch her?
- That'd end up for the worst. She'd go and sick the rest of the Syndicate on them. "I.. I m-might be able to.. if I thee her again. Athk her t-to come and..
- .. and.. I d-don't know.. It'd be hard to c-convinthe her of any of it. ANd I h-haven't theen her in a while anyway.." Thankfully so. They'd not seen her since.. What was it, half a year ago? About that.
- One hand lifted to scratchat the back of their neck. Their eyes narrowed for a moment, then they blinked, standing a little straighter. "If I do thee her again though.. I could tell her that. That you t-tried to attack me.
- Could tell her you were trying to get me t-to get to her and Cameo.. Could thay that I need her help getting rid of you." It still wasn't a particularly solid plan in their eyes, but that was more believable than any reunion could be.
- (Remei)
- He imagines that it would be rather difficult.. if anything, merely due to fact alone that they could not ensure that Remei could be safe- he idly taps at his chin in thought, trying to figure it out, and.. there's peculiar idea that springs up on his mind.
- "Say what.."
- "I have a boy that owes me - one that was from Moonfall. He could deliver the letter from your name. State that you want to meet, and state what we're discussing so far. Say that you want to meet, that I'm threatening you, etcetera."
- "Prepare the letter as convincing as you can. You won't have to meet Melora personally to inform her of this."
- "Instead.. you'll be staying in a single spot and we'll set up an ambush."
- Another pause is made.
- "If she comes? That's good. If she doesn't? Nothing is lost. We'll simply get her some other way." Though, while he tries to put the details on the plan..
- "Write up the letter, but do not add the date on the bottom. Not yet- not until I tell you to and what date to put as well. Then, once the letter is ready, we'll have it sent."
- "Is that agreeable to you? If you're concerned about chapel, then this area could be guarded with Knights or City Watch members. She won't come near here - and you can also spend your time in the city whenever you have no security."
- "One way or another, Melora will go down, eventually."
- (Nerin)
- "I.. I m-might be able to do that.." The little drakanite took a few locks of black hair into their hand as he spoke, twirling them through their fingers. An absent-minded gesture. Trying to think it all through, think over what they would even write.
- How would they word it in such a way that they came running? And.. "A letter might make them think you've c-caught me. That.. you're forthing me to write thomething out for them..
- But.. But I can try that. I.. will.. T-tell them that..
- And- Thith ith me, trying to get it all thtraight. Tho. If I thay thomething wrong g-go ahead and.. correct me." A brief pause, and a deep breath. It was still hard to concentrate through the underlying terror they felt, but that was lessening to some degree.
- The longer they spoke without any form of hostilities the easier it was to steady themself. "You're th-threatening me in my chapel. Tho I need help getting rid of you. That I'd like to meet up with her. Thomewhere, not here.
- And.. And what if she bringth other people with her? It.. if she getth the chanthe to k-kill another knight I'm sure she'll be.. ekthited about that.." Excited enough that she might bring along several members of the Syndicate to make sure someone was dying.

- With the recap spoken, Nerin only nodded once- if anything, she has gotten it right already, and there isn't any need to go back and forth on that. Where she may have some doubts about it.. Nerin is quick to clarify about it all.
- "Mm."
- "She will understand it. She told me about your 'affiliation' with Syndicate, so she has all reasons to believe that I took her words to my heart and went out of my way to attack you."
- "You can say that I've gone mad against you, that I threatened to kill you over aligning with Melora, that I would try and murder you as well."
- "That is what Melora expects, that is what she wants - and people believe what they want to believe. That is why she might swallow this bait."
- And even if she wouldn't? In the end of a day, they don't have that much to lose over this plan failing, though..
- "I suspect she might bring Cameo, but.. you could say that you're terrified of Moonfall right now, and you want to make sure that you'd truly be accepted back - that you're scared of others ever since the things that happened to you."
- "This implies that you want her to come alone, but it is reasonable and it does not directly ask her that she should come alone. Regardless.. I'll be taking several Knights with myself, so any ambush will be useless."
- If anything.. this could become a large catch- something that Nerin is looking forward to, rather than being afraid.
- "That should be all."
