Not a Date-Date but A Date It's A Date

Alexithymiaa: -Adam pulled his trunk into the parking lot of the park with all the picnic shit in the bed of the trunk along with Lady who was sitting patiently despite how excited she was. He pulled into a spot and put the truck in park, killing the engine and slipping down out of the vehicle to Hayley's side, pulling the door open for her and holding out his hand to help her down.-
Tsaaq: Hayley, with her feet propped up on the dashboard as always, lowered her legs and glanced back at Lady then over at the door once Adam opened it. "Gracias." She said, taking his hand and hopping out of the truck. "Night timeeee picnicccc." She said with excitement.
Alexithymiaa: -He laughed and shoved her door closed, making sure it was actually closed since shitty truck. Walking around to the bed, he unhitched the door and laid it flat, letting Lady jump down and grabbing the blanket and basket of food. "You seem excited." He flashed her an easy smile and started around the side of the truck, heading toward the grass.-
Tsaaq: "I kinda am. A picnic at night is probably one of the most goth things ever. If we would've done it in a graveyard that would be like twenty plus goth points." Hayley said following beside him. "I can take the blanket." She held her arms out.
Alexithymiaa: "It's okay, I got it." He walked over the grass with Lady following them, stopping in a wide open area and leaning over to set everything down. "I don't think I'd like a picnic in a cemetry very much." He started to unfold the blanket, shaking it out and laying it down over the grass.-
Tsaaq: She pursed her lips and lowered her arms in acceptance. "Fineee." She groaned then followed him and the puppy, she bent over to straighten the blanket a bit. "I would love it. But I get how you wouldn't be as into it." Hayley shrugged then stood up straight once more. "So far so good." She said then nodded at the blanket.
Alexithymiaa: -He sat down on the blanket with her, tossing Lady's rope to one side so the dog would lay down and gnaw on it. Pulling the basket over, he started to unload their sandwiches and juice, setting them down. "As long as we have no ants, it should stay good."-
Tsaaq: Hayley smiled in Lady's direction. "Such a cutie. I fuckin' can't." She laughed. She sat on the blanket, sprawling out then turning her head to look at the food. "I don't think ants will come out at this time." Hayley said, almost immediately reaching over and getting a sandwich before the set up was done. "Unless they're badass."
Alexithymiaa: "You never know with these ants. They could be." He laughed and sat indian style on the blanket across from her, reaching for his own sandwich to unwrap it, gently tipping his head up to look at the dark sky. "I'm really glad we did this."-
Tsaaq: She laughed and took a bite of her sandwich, looking up at the sky as well. "Yeah this is fun, plus there's food. And a puppy." Hayley said with a smirk. "Oh and the juice." She said, rolling over onto her side. "And you." Hayley added with a laugh.
Alexithymiaa: -He returned the smile to her, wanting so badly to kiss her but SELF CONTROL HE HAS IT RIGHT NOW. He took a bite of his sandwich and chewed, swallowing it before speaking again. "I can't really think of anything that would make this better, can you?"-
Tsaaq: Hayley lifted her body a bit and leaned on her elbows since for some reason she couldn't stay still. "Hmmmm." She hummed a moment then took another bite of her sandwich. "I'm trying but nothing is coming to mind." She laughed again.
Alexithymiaa: "Same." He smiled and took another bite of his sandwich, watching Lady wrestle with her rope by herself. "We cold take our shoes off and put our feet in the water, too. If you want..."-
Tsaaq: She basically stuffed her face with the remainder of her sandwich in her mouth. "Um, yeah." She said in a muffled voice before swallowing. "I'm just wear sandals anyways." She shrugged, finally sitting all the way up. "Would Lady want to come too?" Hayley asked as she pointed at the dog.
Alexithymiaa: -He looked over at the dog, walking her. "I dont know. She's been in the lake and she seemed to like that. I just don't want to have to go in and get her if she refuses to come out."-
Tsaaq: Hayley giggled as she got up. "You don't want her to rebel or anything." She said before patting her short's pockets. "I totally get it, kind of. I don't know. Hera doesn't listen to shit usually, unless she wants to be petted." Hayley went to kick off her sandals.
Alexithymiaa: (watching** tell me when I do these things)
Tsaaq: ((I DON'T KNOW I WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT MEANT.))
Alexithymiaa: "She listens a lot of the time. But she's still a puppy and sometimes that gets the better of her. She tries really hard." He pushed up to his feet, whistling for Lady who excitedly got up and assumed playtime. "C'mon girl." He started across the grass, turning to walk backwards and face Hayley. "Race ya'." With a quick grin he turned around, jumping into a run toward the boardwalk.-
Tsaaq: She wasn't paying attention when he challenged her to the race to end all time. Race of the century, or at least in her mind it was cause winning was important. "You're on but you're cheating cause you started running first!" Hayley shouted with a laugh as she sprinted in the direction of the boardwalk and pumped her short legs hard.
Alexithymiaa: -He broke into a laugh as he obviously reached the boardwalk first, skidding to a stop and turning around to look at her behind him. "I probably would have won anyway. Or do you not remember our race around the house?"-
Tsaaq: "Shut the hell upppppp." Hayley said, as she slowed down, pouting as she looked down at her bare feet. "I would've done my damndest to try and win." She stuck her tongue out at him then went to sit at the edge of the boardwalk.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned down to unlace his shoes, pulling them off and sitting down next to Hayley on the boardwalk, dropping his feet into the water and watching as Lady edged to the river, looking for approval to jump in. "Go on." All at once the dog flopped into the water, paddling around in circles.-
Tsaaq: She shook her head and watched Lady swimming around. "That is so fuckin' cute." Hayley said, trying to kick her feet against the river water but not trying to make big splashes. She looked over to Adam with a grin. "I don't know something about hanging out at the river at night makes me feel cool." She said.
Alexithymiaa: -He smiled at her, tipping his head to one side to look into her face. "Is it... okay if I put my arm around you?" He spoke gently, his blue eyes big and wide.-
Tsaaq: "Oh." She said with a bit of surprise before staring up at him then licking her lips. "Yeah, it's okay." Hayley answered softly then nodded, smiling at him.
Alexithymiaa: -He moved his arm slowly, wrapping it around her shoulders and pulling her against his side. "I don't want to make you uncomfortable."-
Tsaaq: Hayley went to lean her head on his arm and sighed a little. "Well this is the opposite of uncomfortable." She told him. "Sometimes I need stuff like this. Simple stuff, y'know?" Hayley lifted her head a little to glance up at him.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, I do. It makes sense. People need love. It's just the way we work." His eyes followed the dog who was seemingly having the time of her life to just swim around in circles.-
Tsaaq: "I don't know people act like it's so hard to be comforting. Like they're assholes or something." Hayley sighed then went to watch Lady as well. "Sometimes I wish I could just go in a time machine or something. Or like, those watches from that one movie. Or that time travelling power from Misfits."
Alexithymiaa: -He smiled at the thought, moving his hand over the skin of her arm gently. "Where would you go if you could? Or when, I should say."-
Tsaaq: She pursed her lips while thinking. "Um..." She whispered then looked up at the sky. "I think I would go to- wait we have to establish the rules. Is it like Thirteen Going On Thirty where I go to myself at a different time? Or are there multiple mes when I travel through time?" Hayley asked with a raise of her brow.
Alexithymiaa: "I would say it's more like a Back To The Future type of time traveling." He tipped his head up to look up as well studying the stars.-
Tsaaq: "Hmmm okay. So like, I could meet my parents and stuff and steal music." Hayley said before laughing a little. "Time travel sounds kind of overwhelming cause I'd probably try to change my mistakes and shit..." She trailed off.
Alexithymiaa: 'Yeah, regardless of the medium, they all say you can't tamper with the past. It's like a rule of time travel, I guess." He paused for a long moment, turning his head to look down at her. "I kind of want to see what it was like before all technology we have now. See how people really got around things without phones and computers and all that stuff."-
Tsaaq: She shrugged a moment. "Horses, quills, parchment and guns that took really long to load." Hayley listed before laughing. "But seeing that and inventing everything seems kind of amazing. You'd be godlike."
Alexithymiaa: "Well I don't mean cheating. I just want to see how it was, is all." He gave a quick shrug. "The only thing is I know i'd be annoyed because of the way they treated women and minorities. "-
Tsaaq: Hayley smirked then giggled. "Damn." She shook her head. "Yeahhhh, that aspect doesn't sound very fun." She sighed. "Maybe the sixties or seventies? that's when punk rock started. I'm leaning towards the seventies though cause then it'll go into the eighties. I don't know. I'd have to think about it." Hayley finally said.
Alexithymiaa: -He nodded, pulling his arm back from around her shoulders. "It would be a pretty big decision." He pursed his lips and let out a loud whistle, calling the dog up out of the water and watching her shake off.-
Tsaaq: She looked a little sad that he moved his arm but lowered her gaze to the water instead of saying anything. "Yeah. Maybe I should just focus on the present since that's where I'm stuck anyways." She whispered with a bit of a frown then glanced at the dog. "Lady you're adorable." She said with a smirk.
MorbidAngst: Karina payed the uber and began making her way towards the park, she spied two people having a picnic and walked in the opposite direction where she sat on a bench and felt the tears silently begin to whell up in her eyes, Karina NEVER cried and memories of her freshman year mental breakdown began to resurface, looking out into the water she tried to calm her breathing
Alexithymiaa: -He pushed up to his feet and jammed his wet toes down into his sneakers, leaving them untied. "Isn't she? She's going to need a bath now. Want to help me tomorrow?" He held his hand down to her to help her up.- (IF it werent 2am, Id have Adam go over to Karina... but it is and bed because work tomorrow.)

Tsaaq: Hayley got with the help of grabbing his hand and kicked her feet. "Sure." She said with a nod. "Should I wear a shirt I don't like?" She asked him as she went to head up to where the blanket was, jogging playfully.
Alexithymiaa: "Probably. I've never given her a bath before so I don't know how cooperative she'll be." He followed behind her to their picnic area, packing up the remaining food into the basket and folding up the blanket to throw over his shoulder and begin walking toward the truck.-
Tsaaq: "Jokes on you, I like all my shirts." She said jokingly then looked over at him before slipping on her sandals. "But I'll wear my Gaga one, I don't wear that outside much anyways." She grabbed up a sandwich so she could gobble that down before it was put away and followed Adam to the truck.
Alexithymiaa: -He loaded everything into the back, snapping his fingers to call Lady up into the bed of the truck before locking it up and walking Hayley around to the passenger side, holding the door open for her. "That works. I mean it's just water anyway so it's not a big deal."-
Tsaaq: She nodded. "Yeah sounds fine." Hayley bounced a little in her spot then went to hug Adam a moment, sighing before getting into the truck. "We should head home and shit. I wanted to check on Jamie before bed." She said, pulling out her cellphone.
