Judgements 2

Corv vs Kiryu.

Corv wins.

Im gonna do this one a bit different that I do other debates because I think each response has something to say about it.

Kiryu R1.

this is probably the best response ive seen from Kiryu yet; establishes win conditions, attacks opponents feats, builds up your own characters and their strengths.
Generally a good response.

Corv r2.

Extremely phoned in, the OOT request in the middle of the response feels clunky, its basically just a statpost with legs.
However Corv does bring up some good points, Kraven does have animals that can alert him if they see someone, reptil doesn't have great speed, his team one shots. etc.


Kiryu R2.

This is where it starts to go bad for Kiryu, some of these arguements are buttcheeks; thundering doesnt mean fast, Kraven somehow scales to but doesnt scale to spiderman, everything about Kraven speed, both guts in the berserker armour, and armour not being made of steel. This isnt to say that there's not good arguments buried in here, they're just surrounded by buttcheeks. The quote response system is terrible, this response visually looks clunky.


Corv R2.

Not phoned in. Corv doubles down on all his good arguments especially tracking and calling out Kiryu's use of pannel as a speed increment. He further pushes his teams win cons while calling out Kiryu's teams weak points. I buy that the metal Catra cuts through isnt solid, Tell that to the brick is extremely funny, but also a good and fair point. Corv also provides evidence for everything thats been called out, Guts is in control of himself, apostles do bite through armour.


Kiryu R3.

Very funny how corvette goes "im done responding to this" and then immediately gets called OOT.

Other than that this response sucks dick, Kiryu doubled down on all the bad arguments he made in r2. Almost every point in this R3 has already been proven wrong by Corv and doubling down on them doesnt do anyone any favours. It would have actively been better not to do a R3 at this point.


General thoughts.

I buy that Guts and Kraven effectively one shot Catra and Reptil, I buy that Kraven can send out animals that will alert him when they see someone who is not him. I buy that both guts and Kraven are too fast for Reptil to perceive and this effectively takes him out of the debate entirely. Catra is strong and fast-ish, but not enough to compensate for the lack of a real team mate and Corvette's characters being good.
