  2. [14:54] Coming out of the backroom with an odd collection of various materials. Each one more unique than the last the Zanders Head walked over and sat them all to the side. Each one separate from the other. Though most of them where inheritance from his fathers adventures he'd start with the one that he'd claimed in his recent hunt.

  4. "This is the hide of a Relamcanis, a great guardian of an island just off the coast. It was a spiritual guardian that was protecting the area from void corruption."

  6. As he spoke he'd walk over to a desk pulling out various runic sketches. The runes told the story of a lightening spirit battle an entity without form. Eternally in a struggle of light and dark. Of a monolith of great power on the island which the wolf guarded.

  8. "Me, Jun, Lirien, and Feth went to the island to find the wolf. We didn't know it was a guardian at the time. We thought it was some kind ofbeast."

  10. He'd take a seat upon a nearby chair as he spoke, crossing his legs. With a sigh he'd continue onwards with the tale.

  12. "Only I knew anything about spirits and even then not a lot. Hel I wouldn't have know about any of it if I didn't hang around you so much. Turns out I can read some runes cause of it."

  14. He chuckled a bit at that one, who knew watching crafters at their work could allow someone to gain an understanding on how they do what they do?

  16. "Well, the others didn't understand that the beast was corrupted and needed cleanse to prevent that void entity from gaining more power. So, Feth ended up spearing the guardian. That islands no doubt a mess now but well. I've the hide perhaps for a grip. We don't need much to create what I want."

  20. [14:59] Tenko nods as he starts to write down information on a piece of paper.

  22. "From the looks of the hide, it was an electrical beast? A simple runic circle could convert that into a source of energy for whatever weapon's enchantments. Hopefully little is lost in the curing process."

  26. [15:00] Tenko Ultovex asks, "Next object?"

  28. [15:02] Ascalon Zanders says, "It was a beast of electricty, stung like hell."
  29. [15:02] {Item} You drop Midnight Heart x1.
  30. [15:08] Wrapping up the hide he'd set it to the side. Retrieving this time a blulb that glowed with an intense blue. Notable Ascalon was careful not to touch the bottom of the item.

  32. "This is the Midnight Heart. I'll be honest I'm unsure how my father gained it. He was always sort of sketchy on the details."

  34. The Zanders chuckled at that, he really had no clue! Though he'd move onto explain what he knew of it. Tapping his index finger upon the chair as he pondered it.

  36. "It's a battery, that much I can tell you. If you touch the lower half of it your mana is absorbed. I've attuned with it to try and control that aspect. Though it's a powerful artifact. From what I can gather it's filled with the energy of my Father. Who was attuned to the realm of spirits and a Super Magi."

  38. The Zanders glanced at Tenko, he didn't bother explaining what a Super Magi was assuming the fox would know. "I've used it to aid in King Arthurs ritual a while back. You can force the energy out if you try."

  42. [15:14] Tenko wasn't well versed in what a super magi was, given that he was a kitsune and payed little attention to the legends of humans. However he did note that both objects were attuned to the energy of the spirit world. He ponders a moment before starting to write.

  44. "This can either be utilized to store the latent energies in the hide to waste nothing and then filter it out through runic works into the weapon, or utilized in a more offensive, draining manner." He taps the pencil to the paper a few times before motioning forward.

  46. "Are there any further objects?"

  52. [15:21] "Offense is always going to be my answer I think."

  54. As he spoke he'd set the Midnight Heart out of the way. Being careful not to drain himself with it. When he turned back around he had a Dragon's claw in his hand. He sat it down careful for view upon the table.

  56. "This is from my fathers greatest Hunt. It's the claw of the Great Dragon Kerafym. The same one whose bones where used to create Mertaisyl I believe."
  57.  
  58. As he spoke he'd look over towards Tenko, clearly proud of this story. "My father was the one to land the killing blow. You see Kerfym was a dragon attuend to the realm of spirits and energy manipulation. However, he'd became a tyrant of that realm and this one."

  60. An emerald hue looked upon the claw, trying to recall the tale in greater details. A hard thing considered he'd been told it when he was but a lad. "It was for his enslaving of mortals and spirits that my father joined the hunt to slay him. From what I understand they nearly all died in the attempt. However, as it shows the beast was no match for the Knights of Dawn."

  64. [15:29] Tenko ponders a moment to the implications of a connection to Mertaisyl before writing down a few ideas for it's processing.

  66. "Dragon claws are notoriously sharp, if Mertaisyl is to be of any point of reference, and also quite hard, it would take something of equal hardiness to process it. Powderize it and use it to harden the weapon's metallic parts like a flux for a greater impact with less wear and tear." He taps on the page again, wondering how he would convince Mertaisyl to comply with this idea, or if he'd have to have Artaghh get to smashing.

  72. [15:31] {Item} You picked up Dragon's Claw. Dropped by Ascalon Zanders. .
  73. [15:32] Ascalon Zanders says, "Well I've got some soulsteel and that Nyeshk mace that Mertaisyl sold me. That's about it."
  74. [15:33] Tenko Ultovex says, "Hmm.. Nyeshk Mace would likely have a lot of raw material, and soulsteel could be used in conjunction with the midnight heart to make a firm tip of a mace. Given I speak with Artaghh on how to properly work it."
  75. [15:34] Ascalon Zanders says, "I've also got a single ingot of Nyeshk and three ingots of Arcanium."
  76. [15:34] Ascalon Zanders says, "Artaghh would know the best... Ah I've got six ingots of Tyrium and Blue Mercury if you can use those."
