- pre-install stuff you should know:
- You will require a windows install and a second hard drive/a second partition(not recommended) / a real mac with a USB hard drive dock a black hard drive preferably.
- not everything work straight away
- i will be explaining using the clover EFI boot loader not Enoch unless specified.
- you will need a USB stick at least 8GB to do this
- you will be rebooting quite a bit at first until everything is setup.
- If you feel angry step away for 5 minutes as your less likely to mistype a command.
- All boots should be done in verbose mode to fix boot issues the bootflag for this is -v
- Abosulty no support is given for nerish or any other Distro period i want to make that absoulty clear NO support for Distro's
- Install:
- USB keyboard/mouse does not work/infinite boot loop: if running older versions of Sierra download Shaneee's USB fix and man's generic USB kext and use kext utility to put them on the USB and hard drive.
- (enoch)invalid opcode on boot: you did not copy over your extra folder or kernel from the installer USB
- (clover)invalid opcode on boot: you did not copy over your kernel from the installer USB
- (both Enoch and Clover) [PCI configuation Begin] on boot: use the boot flag npci=0x2000 if that does not work still use the boot flag npci=0x300.
- post install:
- USB Audio: install clover and clover configurator, increase CPU frequency too 200 or above then reboot and it should be fixed.
- audio being off: disable microphone on 3.5mm cable.
- general improvements that are not issues as such:
