  1. CROSSõCHANNEL Walkthrough
  2. by Ixrec of Amaterasu Translations
  3.
  4. General Tips:
  5. --The game may appear impossible to complete once it begins to repeat itself, but it's actually very easy. Simply aim to complete as many of the girls' routes as possible (as Taichi suggests), and you should have no difficulty unlocking all the segments given a bit of patience.
  6. --For the most part, it's obvious which choices lead to what outcome. On top of that, most of the choices without a clear outcome have no meaningful impact.
  7. --There is no such thing as a bad ending in this game. Failing to complete a route merely causes the segment you're on to repeat itself so you can try again. Never worry about whether you made a bad choice or not.
  8. --What you should worry about is trying new choices whenever a decision repeats itself (as Taichi also suggests). On the important decisions, you will often have to try all choices in order to unlock a segment later.
  9.
  10. 1. Click "New Game" in the main menu to begin the "CROSSõCHANNEL" segment of the game, also known as "week one." You need make no special effort to complete this first segment, as reading to the end of the week is the only requirement.
  11.
  12. However, Misato's route is already available in this first week, so you can complete it now if you wish. To do so, go to the roof and help whenever you can, "Dress her wounds," and when she visits your house late into the week, "Approach her" three times in a row.
  13.
  14. 2. After completing the "CROSSõCHANNEL" segment, you will automatically begin the "Breakdown/Purification" segment, also known as "week two." Again, completing this segment only requires that you read all to the end of the week.
  15.
  16. This time, Misato and Touko's routes are both available. Misato's is the same as before, while Touko's requires more or less the opposite choices. To complete Touko's route, always "Go to the classroom" and "Talk to her" whenever possible.
  17.
  18. 3. After completing the "Breakdown/Purification" segment, you will automatically begin the "CROSS POINT" segment, also known as "week three." This is the first segment that will repeat itself, so you do have to do something to move further on.
  19.
  20. Very early in the week, there will be a choice allowing you to "Try going to the hokora." If you choose to "Go to school" instead, you will retrace the "Breakdown/Purification" segment exactly as before. If you choose the hokora, you will continue the "CROSS POINT" segment, which is also Kiri's route.
  21.
  22. To complete Kiri's route, you have to go to the hokora, follow her late at night both times (first time is automatic, second is by choice), and then not accept her crossbow bolt.
  23.
  24. 4. After completing Misato's route, Touko's route, and Kiri's route (you may allow "CROSS POINT" to repeat any number of times needed to do this without any penalty), the "INVISIBLE MURDER INVISIBLE TEARS" segment (aka "week four") is unlocked, and can be accessed through selecting the new choice "Go to the Tasaki Shop" instead of "Go to the hokora." This segment is also Miki's route.
  25.
  26. To complete Miki's route, you have to go to the Tasaki Shop, and then go to the first-years' classroom when given the option.
  27.
  28. 5. After completing Miki's route, you will automatically begin the "Just One Thing" segment, also known as "week five." This segment is also Youko's route.
  29.
  30. To complete Youko's route, you must make the "Hold back" choice.
  31.
  32. 6. After completing Youko's route, and thus all major routes, you will begin a new version of the "Just One Thing" segment, this time known as "week six." This time, the first choice you make regarding where to go selects which mini-route you will follow. There are six mini-routes, and all of them must be completed. The order you do it in is largely irrelevant, although Kiri's must precede Miki's, and Youko's must come last.
  33.
  34. Choosing "First-years' classroom" starts the "Someone precious" segment, which is Kiri's mini-route. Complete the route by choosing "Call out to her" at the one remaining choice.
  35.
  36. Choosing "Second-years' classroom" starts the "Disintegration" segment, which is Touko's mini-route.
  37.
  38. Choosing "Roof" starts the "In apology" segment, which is Misato's mini-route.
  39.
  40. Choosing "Cafeteria" starts the "Friend" segment, which is Sakuraba's mini-route. Yes, Sakuraba has a mini-route despite not having a major route.
  41.
  42. Once you've completed the "Someone precious" segment, choose "Go to the Tasaki Shop" to start the "Someday, I will" segment, which is Miki's mini-route. Complete the route by selecting "Invite her on a date" at the one remaining choice.
  43.
  44. After completing all other mini-routes, you will automatically proceed to the "Weakling" segment, which is Youko's mini-route.
  45.
  46. 7. After completing all mini-routes in week six, you will automatically begin the "CROSS X CHANNEL" segment, also known as "week seven." There are no choices this late in the game.
  47.
  48. 8. After week seven is "Kurosu-chanõsleeps," the final segment, also known as the epilogue. After this, you have completed the game.
  49.
  50. 9. CG collection: it is incredibly easy to collect 100% of CGs and H-scenes the first time you play through, as the game almost forces you to do so in order to finish. The only way you could miss a CG is if you didn't try all the alternate options for all of the choices. The easiest ones to miss a CG on are probably the final choice of week 5 and various choices during conversations with Miki in the hallway.
