  1. Name: Epitaph
  2.
  3. Gender: Male
  4.
  5. Race: Armor
  6. Special: Epitaph is an enchanted suit of armor, Able to cast spells but unable to Use weapon tagged skills or perform normal actions.
  7.
  8. When worn, Epitaph is a masterwork weapon with shield, catalyst and possessed tags. Spells targeting him affect the wearer as well.
  9.
  10. If helpless, epitaph still provides +1 hits to the wearer, though cannot cast spells until recovered.
  11.
  12. Epitaph can be heard by others, projecting his voice through any shadows touching the armor. Epitaph shares the thoughts and sensations of his wearer, including pain, when linked mentally. This mental link can be maintained if removed, so long as the wearer remains nearby.
  13.
  14.
  15. Class: Warlock (mage/necromancer)
  16. Special: Tartarian Power: spell; Demonic power fuels your minion or an ally, making their rolls all critical (hit or miss) until combat ends or you take an action to end the effect. On Crit the magic fueling their body prevents them from falling helpless. Whenever they would fall helpless, their hits do not change but they lose a wound as normal. Critfail drives target berserk, hostile, or possessed, and lasts until they fall helpless.
  17.
  18. Skills:
  19.
  20. Free: Raise Dead: spell; Raise the dead as a loyal servant, granting you a minion. Undead have double the Hits they had in life and half their wounds (The DM can also choose to default them to 3/3 health if they had no previously listed stats), and they cannot be healed in any way. As long as they have more than one Hit remaining, any damage that would render them helpless instead leaves them at 1 hit. On Crit your minion regains the racials it had in life. Crit fail summons a hostile undead.
  21.
  22. (1) Lifestream: recharge 1, spell; Saps a target’s lifeforce, dealing damage and storing that energy. You may use the sapped life to restore Hits equal to the damage done on yourself, an ally, or one of your minions, even undead ones. On Crit you drain a wound as well, and can give that heal along the same guidelines listed prior.
  23.
  24. (2) Reflect: Recharge 3, spell; Focus your magic in a barrier around a target. The next successful or critically successful action against them is reflected back to the attacker. On Crit the reflection becomes a siphon, allowing the shielded target to instead take the roll of the next successful action against them and use it for one of their own actions that turn.
  25.
  26.
  27. Special Talent: Intimidation: Epitaph's wearer can use the armor's power to bend the target's mind to talk. When rolling for persuasion, add an additional d3, with the result giving a +X bonus.
  28.
  29. Trained Talent:
  30. Berserker's armor: +2 to the initial casting of Tartarian Power. Can only Target the user Epitaph is equipped to.
  31.
  32. Hits/Wounds: 6/5 (or N/A, depending on ruling)
  33.
  34. Character Traits:
  35. - Cursed Armor, spirit forced into soul-infused metal.
  36. - Looking for a way to escape his magic-wrought prison
  37. - Not malicious, more concerned with his wearer and escape than the plight of others
  38. - Appears as a Shadowy griffon in spirit form, absent of markings besides ice-blue eyes.
  39. - An intimidating set of black iron armor, Epitaph can reconfigure himself to fit the wearer as needed
