What is your mental illness?: attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adhd)

How did you get your mental illness?: it was when i was still in my mom's womb. i think she fell and had caused some brain damage while i  was still in  there. i was also born prematurely by approximately one month before the set date.

When did you get diagnosed with your mental illness?: i was diagnosed with adhd at the age of two.

How do you cope with your mental illness?: my parents never liked giving me  any medications nor consuming medications themselves. they sent me to therapy but im still as jumpy as before and it isn't helping that much but im still hopeful.

Background:
luren's family had a hard time before she was born. her mother was in and out of the hospital due to some fatal reasons. three months before luren was born, her mother fell and she was immediately brought to the hospital and all  they received from the doctor was that the baby was safe, no injuries whatsoever. the night her mother’s water broke, shocked everyone in  the household and the neighbors as she screams  her lungs out. immediately after luren was born she was brought to the er. she was diagnosed with some brain damages and at the age of two is when she was diagnosed with adhd.

things gets  pretty harder for her, when she was bullied throughout her middle scho years for being “too childish” for her age. she didn't have any friends when she was in middle school and she was always called out for not paying attention in class. in high school, kids started to understand why she was like that, being childish and having adhd and she received a lot of friends but that didn't stop her from blaming herself with  adhd.

things were hard for her because she always attend therapy and not taking medication. She always fails in class and even though her parents say it's fine, she can see that they are  quite disappointed. So, when she found out about camp rose, she begged her parents to go which they lastly agreed to after some tough negotiation.
Personality:
💀 She is childish. She acts younger than her age. It caused her being bullied in middle school.
💀 She is easily distracted. Even the slightest thing can make her look away from something she was supposed to be focusing on. This caused her  studies and the main reason why she’s failing in class.
💀 She is cheerful. People who don't know her would probably say that she's stubborn but she's not. Her face looks mean but she's very cheerful.
💀 She likes to fidget. She won't stop moving. She usually plays with her pens which can cause some people to be annoyed.
💀 She is hyper. She won't sit at  one place. She'll move  from one place to another.
💀 She is sympathetic. She says sorry too much. Mostly when she becomes all fidgety amd  hyper.
💀 She is impatient. It gets her annoyed. This caused some minor anger issues.
