  14. Story:
  15. Theresa's mother once got lost Wandering the Forrest of Russia as part of one of the last years of East Germany and the Freie Deutsche Jugend. Spending the night on her own, she was found by a Forest spirit who offered her shelter...for a price.
  16. She returned to the group the next day, not yet aware of her pregnancy.
  17. Theresa was born in Berlin the same day the Wall fell.
  18. With Reunification this meant her mother made sure she got the best of the new Germany. She went to schools in West Berlin, traveled with her family all over the country and generally embracing the west.
  19. Her Grandfather was..not happy about this, though. Maybe that was because he used to be a important man in the Hauptverwaltung Aufklärung, the Stasi's foreign Intelligence arm and the BND kept ignoring the resume's he send them?
  20. Anyway, his favorite way to deal with his disgruntlement was spending time with the granddaugher he adored. But if her mother had known he was teaching her spy tradecraft (because her father being a workaholic who hadn't other hobbies) she might have reconsidered.
  21. And all of this was *before* Theresa realized she could shapeshift.
  22. When she got into her Teens she fell into a rebellious phase, hanging with the wrong crowd and one day went to steal from a shop for a dare.
  23. Things have severely escalated from there.
  24. Today, Theresa spends her days (or rather nights) stealing stuff, mostly art but also other valuables (I mean, *ask* her how she got her iPhone 7 a week before every else) mainly because having a 'normal' life incredibly bores her. The money is nice, yes, but ultimately after running the perfect score, she'd spent a month partying, give the rest to charity and go after the next one because that's simply how she is wired.
