  1. Boetius Millicent: A phantom image of the Gazelle's leg appeared once more as he stomped his left leg down on the pinewood flooring, forcefully stopping his charge. "I'm slow to forgive, youngling. I'm afraid you'll have to deal with the consequences," he sneered.
  2.
  3. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: "Fine, In placet Mortimer." Jaclyn dissapeared, cloaked in her magic.
  4.
  5. Boetius Millicent: He tilted his head, allowing his spiritual sense to flood through the room. He hadn't been using it earlier because it wasn't usually necessary to sense qi fluctuations, and because it was considered by many of his kind to be rather rude to be spreading it all over other people. He wondered if her magic could escape it. Those without a sufficient cultivation base or aren't spiritually attuned wouldn't be able to sense this action.
  6.
  7. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: Jaclyn appeared on the mans shoulder, she gave him a kiss on the cheek than dissapeared once more. She didn't want to harm him, so she decided to confuse him instead.
  8.
  9. Boetius Millicent: His [Threefold Bulwark Pelt] qi barrier would prevent such a kiss from ever landing on his cheek, and at most it would cause a few of the hair-like qi threads to part. This action only increased his anger.
  10.
  11. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: Jaclyn was bored of the hide and seek, the old man seemed to be a physical fighter, not one of the mind. Appearing in front of him, she smiled. "Peek-a-boooooo." Reinforcing her punch with magic, she swung for his temple.
  12.
  13. Boetius Millicent: His spiritual sense allowed him to sense Jaclyn's appearance before even his eyes could register it. With a grunt, transparent white Qi agglomerated on his fist as it hastily rose and shot forward to meet the Fairy's.
  14.
  15. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: Yelping in surprise, Jaclyn vaulted away from the man. Not understanding how he was able to sense her movements. She decided ranged attacks were her best chance. Fluttering away, she started hurling white balls of energy at the man.
  16.
  17. Boetius Millicent: He snorted, cracking his neck. The phantom image of the [Milk Willow Gazelle]'s legs appeared around his own as he gracefully sprung from the floor and used the mahogany round tables as platforms to make his way to the Fairy. As one of the white balls of energy headed towards him, he deigned not to dodge it, but instead fiercely spun his left leg, clad in qi, around to collide with it.
  18.
  19. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: The orb would heat up, if the was any metal on the mans body, it would burn into his skin. "Bug off!" Jaclyn went on The defense
  20.
  21. Boetius Millicent: //Any other notable effects? Does it explode? Is it like a bouncy ball? Disperse into nothingness?
  22.
  23. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: //white is heat, blue is cold. She is isn't a physical fighter. She plans to wear you out and then stab you with about 37 daggers at the same time.
  24.
  25. Boetius Millicent: //Bah, I get th- Well, no I don't. I'm asking about the physical properties of the energy ball itself. Cuz the understanding I get is that it remains rather intact, and I was wondering if that is indeed the case.
  26.
  27. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: //think sticky ball that burns
  28.
  29. Boetius Millicent: Boetius was startled when his leg had heavily impacted the white energy ball. It wasn't sent flying away or smashed into smithereens like he had expected. Instead it stuck to him, and mysteriously caused the golden medallion that he had hanging from his neck to heat up and burn his skin. He yelped, immediately severing the qi threads the ball remained stuck to, allowing it to fall onto the mahogany table he had landed on.
  30.
  31. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: "That's lame. I expected more metal." She pouted at the man. "I have an idea!" She flung 6 daggers at the man as quick as she could.
  32.
  33. Boetius Millicent: Daggers? Normal daggers weren't a threat to him, but he thought it not wise to test the Fairy's prowess again. The phantom Gazelle legs materialized anew near his own as he nimbly ducked and evaded from table to table, nearing the Fairy. Each table rocked slightly ajar as his footsteps landed, but otherwise not being any more worse for wear.
  34. About 13 Hours Ago
  35.
  36. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: "Hmmmm. Speed, strength, thread magic?" Jaclyn looked at him "Are you like using chi? Is this some dragonball bullshit?"
  37.
  38. Boetius Millicent: He scowled at the Fairy's questions. She was the only one throwing balls around. He stoutly kicked at the mahogany table underneath him, rocketing him up towards the Fairy. As his green and yellow robes rippled as he spun around in the air, he explosively struck out his left leg clad in gushing white qi. The phantom image fading as he did so.
  39.
  40. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: Jaclyn knew she didn't have the time to dodge. Throwing up the best defense she could stop the blow. While it lessened the kick, and stopped anything from actually touching her, the force flung her across the room. Hitting the wall, her wing snapped with an audible pop. "Agggh! I yield! I yield!"
  41.
  42. Boetius Millicent: //I take it you have to go?
  43.
  44. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: //No. I rolled a 2 on my d20
  45. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: //bad rolls will always get ya
  46.
  47. Boetius Millicent: //What? You're rolling d20s? Should I have been doing the same thing?
  48.
  49. Jaclyn Fay Ivory: //nah. Just consider the fight won in your favor.
