I worked 6 years to improve. I actually improved because I tried without anyone's help.
you realize thats not just the only way people can improve, right? you can get help with friends, enemies, staff, etc
If you count on others, it's obvious why you don't improve.
Read a book. You'll see literacy and explanations.
Write a book. You'll develop a style of Dungeon Mastering.
