Anz: But lanterns are supposed to be hand-carried in the first place, so is there anything wrong with them being small?

Anz: Yeah. And the famous jack-o'-lantern means "man carrying a lantern"...

Anz: So if you think that way, the smaller ones are actually the proper size.

Sum: Huuh... So that's how it was.

Aya: But why turn pumpkins into lanterns in the first place?

Anz: Originally, in Scotland they believed  that will-o'-the-wisps would possess turnips...

Anz: But when they started celebrating Halloween in America they began using pumpkins that were more easily found there.

Son: Anzu-senpai, you're amazing!

Its: Yeah... We're in the same year, but she knows so much more... It's kind of depressing.

Aya: How do you hollow out a pumpkin?

Gin: Boy, did we have trouble with that last year. Pumpkins are pretty hard...

Sum: They get softer when you heat them up while cooking, but cutting them raw, and while trying to keep their shape...

Son: Anzu-senpai, do you have any ideas? Do you need special tools for lantern-making or something?

Its: Please tell us if you know the right way to make them.

Anz: Uh... I'm not very good at physical work like that. Tamacchi-senpai could probably do that with no trouble...
