I hate dreams

So, the dream starts with me being shaggy, not the one from scoobie doo, but the one that sings "it wasn't me" and I'm an investigative journalist having a back break up with my girlfriend idk how we got their, but me(shaggy) and my boy RikRok(apparently these should be reversed, whatever). are in my ex's house, trying to decode some message on the answering machine, idk how we do it, but eventually we decode the message and we find out about this huge scandal with this local football thing where the ref was smuggling drugs in through the football?

so, I try to go to the police but they're absolutely useless, obviously. Then I sneak into the stadium while a game is going, and discover a football that's loaded, but I hear the ref coming in so I gotta quickly put the ball back and hide, it then goes to me following the ref out to the active game, the coach calls a timeout, the ref throws a football to player, who threws it to the QB, who throws it to a player, who throws it into the crowd, who throws it to another crowd member, who throws it to a cartel guy, and I've got my scoop.

It then cuts to some swampy niagara falls, and I'm driving on this swampy river, I guess I had reported this story, and gotten one of these lead cartel guys arrest, but that was just the tip of the iceberg and now I'm on their radar. So now I'm on this pretty nice looking boat crusing with my IRL cousin(one who shot people), and he's telling me they're going to come for me, and it's not safe, and I have to go into hiding, but while we're talking another boat similar to mine gets up next to us, and explodes with guns flying everywhere(I think guns were relevant to the dream somewhere).

this apparently only scares the hell out of us, and disables our boat, but my cousin goes "they're coming for you, this was just a message, we gotta get out of here.". So, he pulls this tarp off the boat and it's literally a gyrocopter like out of DKC3, it has 2 seats. We get inside it and start flying away when a rocket gets next to us and blows up, setting us tumbling down into this swampy water with tall reeds. we fall out of the gyrocopter as it crashes into the swamp, I wake up hazy and confused, my cousin is dead and I'm wounded. The only thing I can think of is to hide my phone recording in the reeds in the hope someone will avenge me, and I just play dead in the swamp water. the gyrocopter propeller is still spinning and it's like a rainbow shaped propeller so it like drapes over the gyrocopter.

a boat comes up with 4 guys and a dog, and they go "oh, don't worry, we know you're not dead yet, we're the people that disappear people like you???" they jump off the  boat and come to investigate my body 1 by 1, and they..... walk into the propeller of the spinning gyrocopter and die 1 by 1, all 4 of them do this. I stop playing dead and I'm just confused, but I know I gotta get outta there pronto, so hop into the gyrocopter and start taking off when the dog attacks me. Light scuffle with the dog, but then I manage to take off, leaving the carnage behind, but the gyrocopter is barely ascending and it's very frustrating to fly.

SO I fly over some hippies, and like.... an acre of forest, and see a bunch of roofs where I apparently live, land on the roof. I'm exhausted and pass out in this random home... I wake up to an alarm but not one in my building. I look over the balcony of where I am, and see the alarm next to 2 females sleeping in a bed groggily waking up, and one comforting the other and saying "don't worry, that son of a bitch is dead for sure by now" I then realize I was sleeping in the bedroom of the dude I got arrest, and he has like a harem living next to him that want me dead. They then notice me, and realize who I am, I make a scramble to the rooftops while they chase me(unarmed) we stumble fight up this tiny flight of stairs, get to the roof, have a bit of a scuffle and I make it to the gyrocopter, start taking off when one of them grabs onto it, and starts trying to make me crash by holding onto the side.

I barely manuever it torwards a police station and somehow crash into with her on it through the roof without damaging the gyrocopter, as she's hanging there I look down at like 40 police and say "any help? :)" we smash cut back to my house and I'm like "I can't believe it's over" as I'm talking to my boy RikRok, he smiles and it's revealed he's in a relationship with my ex, but obviously I still don't know as I walk out of the building. I wake up.
