  1. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "This is Agent Tyler McKinney interviewing Malachi Al-Hassem for the position in Central Command Internal Affairs."
  2.
  3. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "You were faxed about a visitor acting hostile towards the crew and station, sapping the power supply, stealing research data, and has threatened to kill their captive if security tries anything or ERT was called. It was also reported that they have military-grade technology capable of stealth and teleportation, armed with highly dangerous weapons. How would you respond?"
  4.
  5. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem asks, "Hm.. That's touchy.. I assume at all costs, the loss of research data is unacceptable, correct?"
  6.
  7. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "Along with the life of the crew at danger and the station assets, yes."
  8.
  9. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "I would fax the station back for possible demands and requests. Calling ERT would cost the lives of crew, which is not acceptable either.."
  10.
  11. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "I would have the Command and ISD team attempt to neogoiate for the crew and data."
  12.
  13. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "Hmm. Of course."
  14.
  15. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "Next question. You are faxed by Station Command about a team of mercenaries who have reported a band of pirates operating in the area. They wish to offer their services to the station as additional security. Command is asking you for your advice on the situation. How do you respond, and why?"
  16.
  17. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "If the pirates become a hostile threat to the station and the ISD alone cannot handle the issue, contracting the mercenary team for a short duration to ensure the safety of the crew and the continued efforts of the Aurora seems like a good choice. This would be less expensive than dispatching a response team."
  18.
  19. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "Mhmm. The mercenaries took care of the pirates, however, they took the opening and seized ISD's assets and dismantled the department. They want one thing in return, the contents of the vault. What would be your response?"
  20. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem asks, "The ISD are not able to handle the threat then?"
  21.
  22. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Dispatch a response team. They've taken the kindness of the crew and Odin with disrespect. Have Command and ISD attempt to keep the crew safe while ERT come and deal with this second threat."
  23.
  24. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "You receive an Emergency Broadcast System message from the station’s Artificial Intelligence. It claims that there is an emergency situation, and requests an immediate ERT deployment. How do you respond?"
  25.
  26. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Respond asking for a full sitational report from the AI. Given the sitation, and the request, a response team need only be dispatched when the situation is far too troublesome."
  27.
  28. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Costing lives, and assests."
  29.
  30. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "You receive a fax from your NanoTrasen Corporate Liaison about the Captain shutting down all of the vending machines, cutting off profits in expectation to have the crew go to the chef and bartender for their service, and disagrees with this action as profits are lost. How would you handle this situation?"
  31.
  32. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "The Captain has full control over operations aboard the Aurora, do they not? However doing so seems to go against their Implant's guidance. I can't see a good reason for this action. I would fax the Captain, asking for a reason as to why they've done as the Liaison has reported."
  33.
  34. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "The Captain responded with, "I believe that the crew should be motivated to go down to the chef and bartender to get the sustenance they need and interact with the crew. It was proven to be good for getting to know your crew and help manage their break times.""
  35.
  36. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "That's actually not too bad.. I'd fax back with asking the Captain that he have the Chef and Bartender set up their EFTOS systems and charge for meals and drinks to cover the loss of profits at our vendors."
  37.
  38. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "In your opinion, how much of a role should Central Command involve itself in the affairs of the station? When is it appropriate for them to directly intervene?"
  39.
  40. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "When the need is high. When the crew cannot handle issues themselves. When input is required."
  41.
  42. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "What do you believe is the purpose of the Incident Report system?"
  43.
  44. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "To maintain a safe, stable environment on the NSS Aurora for the crew."
  45.
  46. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "And other NanoTrasen assets."
  47.
  48. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Of course."
  49.
  50. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "In resolving an Incident Report, when should a character receive significant disciplinary action (such as a demotion), as opposed to a lighter response such as a warning or retraining? Under what circumstances would you consider terminating an employee's contract?"
  51.
  52. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "When all evidence and interviews point to a extreme infraction, such as amber level offenses, being that of murder, assaulting command staff, dismantling IPCs. When the employee cannot be trusted to remain a part of the Company in fear of loss of lives, or our assets."
  53.
  54. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Terminating an employee is rather extreme, and should only be done to meet an extreme offense to the Company and it's interests."
  55.
  56. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "You noticed that the employee has an excellent track record with us and has shown signs of improvement, though they recently relapsed and repeated their offense, how would you handle it?"
  57.
  58. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "Additionally with being a valuable asset."
  59.
  60. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Find out why and what caused them to relapse, first off."
  61.
  62. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "From there it depends."
  63.
  64. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Likely retraining, and a stern warning."
  65.
  66. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "After taking an IR of your own and completing your interviews, you find that a Surgeon committed malpractice and has shown guilt in their actions, however the victim and the Chief Medical Officer is angry and wants drastic action for suspected intent of malpractice. Based on this, what would you do?"
  67.
  68. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Demote them to an intern for one week and a complete retraining. The victim and CMO are both angry, and malpractice is a serious thing. People can die that way."
  69.
  70. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "Resident would be the best position for that matter but yes."
  71.
  72. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "That's what I meant, sorry."
  73.
  74. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "Last question, what changes do you wish to see in the Bureau?"
  75.
  76. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney asks, "And why?"
  77.
  78. (Shadow) Malachi Al-Hassem says, "Honestly? Increased activity. Which is why I am here."
  79.
  80. (Soultheif96) CCIAA Tyler McKinney says, "Of course."
