Been playing since the middle of Burning Crusade.
Completed all raid content from T4 to T12 (BC through half of Cata) at the level it was released at.
Skipped Pandaria expansion (didn't enjoy the theme), picked the game back up for Warlords of Draenor.
Completed all raid content from T17 to T18 (WoD) at the level it was released at.

Gave up on retail early in Legion due to boredom. The only reason to play retail is transmog / pets / mounts. It's not about raiding for better gear anymore. Remember when you could look at someone in a capital city and immediately recognize the gear they were wearing? You could tell how powerful someone was just by looking at them. That feeling lost was lost in transmog and everyone just wants to play dress-up now.

I want to put in effort at getting better gear, and forming friendships with others in a guild to help eachother achieve the same goal, not just hit a button to queue into an instant raid and be handed free raid gear. You literally do not need a guild in this game anymore when LFR exists, if all you care about is seeing the story of the raids.

I also feel like Blizzard recently only cares about whichever latest raid is in the current patch, and not every raid in the current expansion. Every raid in the current expansion should still have a reason to be cleared, not just the latest raid in the latest patch. I don't want to play the patch, I want to play the expansion.

Going to say this now, if you are here to see PVP, you might as well leave. PVP is something I do not enjoy.
