  23. Now for Neuroi Integration. I think I understand the concerns about people having more powers than they are supposed to, and there are some powers shared by Neuroi Girl when merged so I did shift it all up to Defining and added Share Powers. However, I think the concerns are mostly a case of overcautiousness. Even if Neuroi Girl is merged with someone, there are still two PCs in the scene. Any powers used by one that aren't in their powersets are in the powerset of the other, and since it is mind-manipulation it isn't a case of someone having more powers than they should. It is in practice no different than say Professor X pushing Sabertooth to choke Magneto. The fusion part is mostly cosmetic, much like the lions forming Voltron. No one person gains all the powers of Voltron. Instead, the paladins work together and can request that one of the other team members uses their powers. In scenes, especially combat scenes, this seems a fair trade off. Only one of the two would have to be taken out for both to be defeated, and the integration doesn't grant MDA, so two actors becoming one is actually a hinderance. Truthfully the integrating with other people would be much more of a plot device. There are not many instances where it would be practical or advantageous except in story building. Doubly so when you consider the limitation that the Mind-Manipulation and the integration itself is ICly easy to shrug off, not to mention the OOC consent required. The vast majority of the time Neuroi Girl would be integrating with inanimate objects. For instance, in one of the more recent scenes Neuroi Girl integrated with a large military troop transport in order to help evacuate the prisoners from an enemy base. She gained no actual powers other than getting bigger, which is covered under the Disguise power, and the people she carried would now be covered under Share Power if they weren't already covered simply by her being big and having Flight.

  28. On the matter of canonical precedent, there is only one that I know of but it was an entire episode where a Neuroi captured a commanding officer and used her powers to defend itself. It didn't even actually have control of her mind, just her powers. Which it used completely against her will and without any input from her while she was basically bound and unable to move. It is a bit of a jump from that to this I suppose, but in this form there is much less in the way of dictatorial power. Quite literally none if the target ICly even tries to resist. In scenes, when Neuroi Girl touches someone to try and integrate with them they would literally be asked through the initial connection if they are willing to merge. If it is a no and they resist, the connection is broken. And most of the time she would ask verbally before even trying to initiate.

  33. With all the limitations you might wonder why I'd even waste the space on this. Well, as with other advantages on other characters, I don't really mind spending a portion of powers on something that is highly conditional, situational, or hardly gives any advantage at all if it is canonical and can drive RP in some way. And, if you read her current iteration of Integration, it doesn't say she can't fuse with PC entities. It says she can't -forcefully- integrate with anything that has a will of its own.

  38. If you guys still feel that the Mind-Manipulation and merging with PCs portion of the power is too far outside of MUSH standards, I can accept that. But, I think you would be removing a powerful RP tool that grants very little in the way of actual advantages.

  80. These are abilities related to being a Neuroi.
  81. Attack List - Ranged: Neuroi Girl is able to fire multiple types of beam attacks. These types are vectoring beams, shotgun-type beam blasts, and a powerful siege-sized beam called the Breaker Beam.
  82. Heal - Self: Neuroi Girl is able to regenerate her body at a rapid pace so long as her core is not damaged.
  83. Destruction: Neuroi Girl's beams consist of dense anti-proton blasts, which excel at explosively disintegrating most anything they hit.

  89. Neuroi Girl can integrate with both technological and biological things by touching them. She can merge with things up to the size of an aircraft carrier, but cannot stay merged with anything more than twice her size for any longer than 24 hours.
  90. Hacking: Neuroi Girl can attempt to gain control of most any electrical or mechanical system by integrating with it.
  91. Mind-Manipulation: While Neuroi Girl has great difficulty forcefully integrating something with a will, she can easily merge with a willing party and once merged can fully control or surrender control of the fusion.
  92. Share Powers: When Neuroi Girl integrates with something it gains the powers of a Neuroi. However, Neuroi Girl does not get any additional powers from integrating with something or someone.

  103. Flash Movement: Neuroi Girl is able to move nearly instantaneously between two points in a large radius. She does not have to move in a straight line, but can't go through any obstructions. It takes too much energy and concentration to use in combat.
  104. Mobility: In both flight and teleportation, Neuroi Girl is able to move with great agility. This allows her to avoid obstacles and navigate tight corridors even at high speeds.
  105. Flight: Neuroi Girl flies at almost all times using a form of anti-gravity.
