  1. Again, sorry to Kragfag, I missed this one.
  2.
  3. >Had to happen eventually, thank got you didn't lie to yourself and got moved out before 25.
  4. >Everything was at the new pad except your guns, you had more than a few on account being lucky enough to hold a job well,
  5. >Well and grandpa, he had a metric shitload that he has been filtering down to you and your older brother since you were 18
  6. >either way you begin to pull firearms of basically all types from the safe, from your personal tacticool ar and vector to the heirlooms, namely a Winchester 1998 krag jorgensen made in 1900.
  7. >with help from the folks everything is loaded into your pickup and you're on your way.
  8. >you found a small house in an older part of town, not a bad area though, the neighbors are older but you don't think there'll be any issues.
  9. >With the guns inside you decide it's been entirely too long since you've cleaned or shot a lot of them. So you turn on John Wick for some background noise and get to it.
  10. >about 2 hours later you finish the last one, the 1898, during cleaning you could have sworn you hears something, but rationalize it away as part of the movie.
  11. >fuck it's late and you have work, you turn off the computer and begin to head to bed when you hear a yawn that isn't yours.
  12. >turning back to the table you see a woman sitting there dressed in a brown vest and slacks with a white button up shirt, she was almost steam punk, but without useless gears and random shit tacked on.
  13. >"uh.. hey" you awkwardly articulate over your confusion.
  14. "Oh, hello. How long was I asleep? she replies in a dignified, almost regal voice
  15. >"Couldn't have been long, you just got here, who are you?" you play along trying to keep the situation calm
  16. "I'm a jorgensen rifle so that would be the surname, assuming you're my current owner the first name is on you to figure out."
  17.
  18. Cont?
  19.
  20. >you'd heard stories just assuming they were just bullshit, yet here in front of you was a waffengeist, at least that’s what they were called according to your favorite Mongolian knitting board.
  21. >"I'm anon, I've had you going on three or four years now, why the sudden appearance?”
  22. ”I could ask the same as to why you’ve only ever put 40 rounds through me in that time?” she half snaps back
  23. >”ammo is hard to find for you, and I only just got the dies and stuff to reload for it.”
  24. “Really, you’re going to shoot me again when are we going!?” she almost squeals
  25. >“probably next weekend, that way I have time to get the loads together. So if you held off on showing are any of the others y'know, like you?" you ask figuring it was probably a fair question.
  26. "unfortunately no, the company would have been nice."
  27. that's probably for the best you think as you look over her once more, she seems about 5'8, athletic build, brown hair with more than a hint of red and hazel eyes.
  28. "So, does that mean I get my own room?"
  29. >"sure? Mine is on the left of that hall, the safe is in the one across from it if you want that, we can set up a cot for now until we find you a proper bed."
  30. "Or be a gentleman and you take the cot, then again, we could always share the bed, long as you don't try anything" she said with distinctive look
  31. >"I could say the same to you" you mock in a flat tone.
  32. >with that the two of you climb into bed, you making more of an effort than her to give ample space between you two.
  33.
  34. >its 7:00 and instead of your alarm you awake to being pushed off the bed by your new "roommate"
  35. >She pulls the blanket tighter around her and curls up where she was grumbling something about noise
  36. >"thanks for the wake up I guess" you say, lumbering toward the bathroom
  37. >after your morning routine there was just enough time to make the only breakfast you know how, eggs and toast
  38. >you decide that she might have the potential to eat and make a plate for her as well, on the way out the door you leave a note next to the landline with your cell number telling her not to hesitate to call if she needs anything
  39. >work was uneventful for the first hour or so until your phone rings, the fabrication shop you work at is pretty relaxed so you step outside to answer
  40. "How were you raised kid? didn't even tell me you were leaving" Jorgensen scolds through the handset
  41. >"I didn't want to disturb you, I at least made you breakfast"
  42. "That doesn't change anything, you haven't given me a real name either"
  43. >"how does Daisy sound?"
  44. "Do I look like a BB gun? that sucks"
  45. >"OK, how about this, you're Norwegian what about Eira?"
  46. "Eira... I kinda like that one, it has a ring to it"
  47. >"Cool, now I need to get back to work"
  48. "One more thing, do you have any sunflower seeds?"
  49. >no why?"
  50. "I like them, get a bag on the way back"
  51. >"Alright see you when I get home"
  52. >the rest of the day goes without incident and you make it home with her prize
  53. >"I'm home, and I got your seeds!" you call into the house as you walk in
  54. "Hell yes" she near sprints up to you and tears a small handful from the bag and stuffs them into her cheek happily
  55. >must be something to do with the side loading door you figure
  56. >"just don't make a mess around the house" you say handing her the bag
  57. "Are you going to load any ammo for me tonight?
  58. >"alright, want to sit with me and help?" you ask
  59. "I don't see why not, might learn to do it myself too huh?"
  60. >"true, I need a shower first then we'll get right to it"
  61.
  62. >showered and relaxed now to start loading
  63. "Finally, lets go before it gets too late" she says still with a cheek full of sunflower seeds
  64. >"alright Eira, did you find where I set up in the basement?"
  65. "I had all day to myself I already know this hut like the back of my hand"
  66. >with that you begin cleaning, forming, and so on, and figure now's the time for some interrogation while you work
  67. >so why the getup, your clothes don't seem very ladylike considering your age?"
  68. "If you must know I've been around guys my whole life and its the style I know, plus I like to look classy"
  69. >"I saw the cartouches on your stock, army approval?"
  70. "Philippines and some of the great war, had a uniform those days, Davy gave it to me, got one from Jacob too" she trails off slightly
  71. >"If you don't want to talk about it, I understand. Memories can hurt like a bitch"
  72. "anyway I just never had many girls around me apart from the odd other rifle here and there"
  73. >"so, when you're a rifle, do you perceive the world?"
  74. "I do, your ginger friend is a bad shot"
  75. >"Riley has as much experience with a gun as I do with an airplane, but he's been learning"
  76. "How about we reserve me for just you, keep it family friendly so to speak you done with the questions yet?"
  77. >"yeah, do you have any for me?"
  78. "Got a girlfriend?" eyeing you suspiciously
  79. >"for a while, she left me for some dude she met online"
  80. "Weak, did she give any other reasons?"
  81. >He had a degree I'm about a month or two out on mine."
  82. "Job?"
  83. >"Metal fabrication"
  84. "more of a man than most nowadays"
  85. >"thanks"
  86. >you two go on about small things for a while until you have around 50 or so rounds together,
  87. >"not bad for a nights work wouldn't you say?"
  88. "Can't call you a liar, bedtime then"
  89. >"not yet, I was going to do some homework but you you wanted to feel free."
  90. >an hour later you finish the renders you needed done and climb into bed, Eira lazily takes your arm and holds it close to her chest,
  91. >she isn't wearing her vest tonight or her shirt
  92.
  93. >"I thought we agreed last night no monkey business?"
  94. "I'm not completely naked, I still have my lingerie, plus that was last night, we can bend the rule as we go"
  95. >"until we break it like a cheap window I assume"
  96. "maybe, I dunno"
  97. >"good night Eira"
  98. >the week continues on and you take about an hour or so a night to load rounds for Eira, talking about her life over the last century, while evoiding the topic of her time in service
  99. >Saturday comes at long last, except its god damned 4:30 am and you are half awakened by
  100. "Get up c'mon, It's almost light outside lets get going" Eira claims as she shakes you
  101. >its way to early for this crap as you try to sleep though the assault.
  102. "really now?" She goes from her side of the bed, straddling your abdomen
  103. "Anon, don't make my pull some Disney on you" she sings as she slowly lies down on you, her face deathly close to yours as you get a faint smell of your shampoo on her hair
  104. >She leans in a little further and her lips just barely touch yours. She holds there for just a few seconds trying to bait you out.
  105. >youstartedthiswoman.jpg
  106. >you feel her hands explore your shoulders and arms tracing the curves until she finally commits to the act and locks her lips against yours
  107. >You open your eyes as she pulls off smiling
  108. >"at least you didn't throw me off today" you smugly say
  109. "You were a good boy this week for getting all that ammo together, I reward good behavior" as she crawls off of you
  110. >"Good to know," you climb out of bed, get dressed and look over at Eira who's already in her vest suit grabbing her sunflower seeds
  111. "Ill get the stuff and meet you in the truck" she says leaving the room
  112.
  113. >"alright, lets see if you forgot anything; targets, ear-pro, rangefinder, and ammo? check, cool just gotta grab water and we can head out."
  114. "the range doesn't have water?" Eira asks with a raised eyebrow
  115. >"we aren't going to a proper ranger, just out to the desert past Blackrock and eagle mountain"
  116. "Too cheap for range fees? you own your own place for gods sake"
  117. >"I like the open, plus I'm not feeling like having an RO or some neckbeard down my throat just because I have a rifle older than my grandparents"
  118. "As long as I get to do what I was made to do I don't care."
  119. >"good, I'll be right back" you say as you walk back inside to fill your hydro and grab a bag that was sitting in the back of your closet
  120. "Can we go now?" clearly annoyed through a mouthful of sunflower seeds
  121. >"yes but we need to get to stop at the store on the way out for one more thing, a watermelon"
  122. "why?"
  123. >"steel is good but mushy targets are fun, that isn't going to bring back any memories is it?"
  124. "long as it aint alive or speaking German I think I'll live"
  125. >"good to know"
  126. >after about an hour drive with the stop you arrive to your favorite spot, a giant burm in the middle of the desert and set everything up.
  127. >"alright, lets load you up" as you walk back to the truck
  128. "one sec, gotta finish these" Eira says with a raised finger
  129. >"I thought you were exited, the spits can't wait?"
  130. "I don't want to jam with the damn things or waste 'em"
  131. >"so is that a thing from the side loading door or what? I'm actually curious about this seemingly crippling addiction of yours"
  132. "yeah, my sisters and I all had it, the 1903's I served with didn't I might be able to quit if I find a replacement that isn't chew. That crap gunked me up something fierce"
  133. "as long as I'm in the loop"
  134. >"alright done" as she sits on the tailgate
  135. >in a literal blink at the wrong time she's not sitting there anymore and only an old rifle sits where she was
  136. >"Spooky" you joke as you pick her up and place rounds in the small door
  137.
  138. >you close the magazine with a hearty snap, hearing something like a gasp but you shrug it off as your imagination
  139. >taking aim at the jack about 100 yards out you pray to god the measurement in that reloading book was right and take up the trigger
  140. >CRACK
  141. >a .308 projectile crashes into the steel with a resounding ring as it tears through
  142. >holyfuckthatwascool.avi
  143. >work bolt and aim at the gong a little further out channeling a certain old man on youtube
  144. >Ding!
  145. >you work down through the remaining three rounds and set the old girl down to check her
  146. >another blink and Eira replaces the rifle in front of you, looking slightly red but extremely refreshed with the top two buttons on her top open
  147. >"you good"
  148. "better than good darlin' how many rounds do we have left?"
  149. >"we loaded about 300 rounds over the week and killed only 5, think you can handle more?"
  150. "The pope catholic?"
  151. >so you load up and continue until it gets about dark and pull the bag and a melon out of the back of the truck
  152. "What's that?" she questions still blushing from the fun
  153. "check it out" you say as you produce your knife and carve a into the fruit(or giant berry for those that care)
  154. >with a sizable space you open the bag and retrieve an explosive target to embed inside and place the salad near the first jack
  155. >"we got about 50 rounds left, but its getting late and I feel like we should end this on a high note
  156. >Taking her you put one last round in and line up just right and fire, being rewarded with the flash of the melon's demise
  157. "Holy shit that was amazing!" Eira shouts
  158.
  159. >"thought you'd dig it" you say not a second before an airborn melon gib slaps you on the top of the head with a splash
  160. >the two of you can help but laugh at your vaudevillian luck for a good minute
  161. "Let me help with that" she says plucking the chunk off your dome
  162. >"lets head home" you say as the sun sets
  163. >while you pack up the targets you cant help but notice the light playing through Eira's hair or her silhouette's feminine form, where her hips always that wide, hell did she always swing them like that when she walked?
  164. "Hey, you need help, its getting dark?" she calls from the truck
  165. >"N-no I'm good, just saw a hawk in the distance and got distracted"
  166. "If you say so, anyway lets get you home its been a long day"
  167. >you hop in the driver seat and get the radio playing the music saved to your phone, mostly Pink Floyd and some Zeppelin
  168. >"anything particular you want to listen to?" you ask as you get moving
  169. "I like Sinatra, and Benny if you have them"
  170. >"I can stream it, one sec" you open your phone find a radio app and set a station to swing
  171. >you forgot you use to listen to this stuff a lot and cant help but sing along to fly me to the moon when it plays
  172. "my, my, more cultured than I thought aren't you" Eira plays
  173. >"what can I say, I can be a sucker for old things, you should have learned that this morning"
  174. "Oh I did, I was just trying to wake you up, you were the one who forced my hand"
  175. >"whatever you say"
  176. >the rest of the drive home is pleasant, singing to old tunes together in the starlight
  177. >When you arrive home it's 10:30, Eira heads inside while you clear out the truck
  178. > walking inside Eira is waiting in the front room, her vest over the backrest of the couch
  179.
  180. >"that's the last of it, all that's left its to clean you, then shower and we can call it a night." as you go to the closet to grab the cleaning kit Eira grabs your arm
  181. "How about you clean me in a different way" she says, her voice smoother than normal
  182. >"And how am I going to clean you?" you ask with a feeling you know where this is going
  183. "well, a shower can be just as good as a bore brush, and save some time" now undoing the top few buttons on her shirt
  184. >"If it works the same I cant argue lead the way" you grin
  185. >there she goes with that same walk again, hips like a pendulum and an ass you cant help staring at
  186. >you two enter the bathroom and she smirks at you, well soldier, you going to strip your rifle to clean it?" pressing her chest against you, hands around your waist
  187. >you undo the remaining buttons on her shirt, kissing her neck, working down her collar, chest, and firm stomach then finally remove the garment complete tossing it to the floor
  188. >you doff your shirt, casting it away in the same manor, Eira closes the already small gap between you and your lips lock again, this time though it lasts longer until you feel her tongue playing in the front of the mouth and follow suit with your own
  189. > as this happens your hands are a delicate ballet, wandering over eachother's frames following shapes and grabbing flesh
  190. >you slide your hand into her waistband and gently rub the already moist orifice as she gasps between moans
  191. >you feel her grab your member and she breaks the kiss
  192. "Tell me you want this like I do"
  193. >"Little late for that isn't it?"
  194. >her grip suddenly tightens
  195. "Tell me, please. Say the words." she begs with labored breath
  196. >"Eira, I don't want this. I need this, with you and no one else"
  197. >her grip immediately slacks and she opens your pants exposing your manhood, already able to put diamonds to shame
  198.
  199. >she runs her fingers along the length as you remover her slacks and push your fingers inside, starting with your middle finger then adding your index as she opens up
  200. >"this is the last chance to back out for both of us, are you really sure about this?" you ask dreading the worst
  201. "shut the hell up and fuck me already" she says slapping you across the face
  202. >not to be outdone you reply with your own show of force, grabbing her by her taught thights and throwing her onto the counter spreading her legs
  203. >you lean in, gripping her hips while she guilds you inside, feeling like a, oven as you thrust slowly at first but then quickly pick up the pace, her hips now adding to the force as the two of you lose all sense of identity in delicious sin
  204. >Eira grabs your shoulders and pulls herself up biting into the base of your neck muffling
  205. "I'm almosht there, jusht a little more"
  206. >"God damn, me too" you manage, moving a hand to her clit
  207. >your grips suddenly relax as both of you release and fall to the floor behind you
  208. >"well fuck, its been way too long"
  209. "Go to hell, last time I got any it was in a shitty trench in France" Eira says softly, laying on your chest
  210. >"That long ago, you should've said something sooner"
  211. "I like to shag once in a while but I'm not just going to fuck anyone who picks me up"
  212. >"fair point, should we go to the bed? I'm starting to doze off"
  213. "might be more comfortable than this floor, then again, you make a good cushion"
  214. >you just gave in and fell asleep on the tile,
  215. >the next morning you wake only to migrate to the actual bed with Eira in your arms to sleep the rest of the weekend away, or at least that was the plan
  216. >your phone decides that plan sucks as it incessantly rings
  217. >"hell what now?" as you place the now only half sleeping girl on the mattress
  218. >"whats up deadman, you haven't been online all week, I know moving in to a new place takes some adjusting but c'mon man" its your buddy Phil
  219. >"Sorry I got caught up in some work shit and didn't have time,"
  220. >"you build stuff with steel for a living, how does that come home with you?"
  221. >"you'd be surprised"
  222. >"whatever, want to hit the gym"
  223. >"I can't today..." you start until
  224. "who's that?" Eira asks sitting up
  225. >P-"Was that a girl's voice, what happened to dying alone?"
  226. >"I can explain later alright just don't let anyone know while I figure this out"
  227. "Figure what out?" a little more than annoyed
  228. >"stuff, we'll talk about it when I hang up"
  229. >P-"Dude, did you finally get a girlfriend?"
  230. >"no shut the hell up and keep this quiet"
  231. >P-"can do" he says sarcastically hanging up
  232. >"Well fuck"
  233. "Friend of yours?"
  234. >"yup, you'll meet the lot soon enough once I figure out a cover for your existence
  235. "why do I need a cover?"
  236. >"Because I'm a fuckup and don't know how many people know about guns like you"
  237. "is that an issue?"
  238. >"I think it can be, no clue so let's just make a story to agree on alright?"
  239. "fine, say we met at a nightclub"
  240. >"I cant afford to go clubbing"
  241. "Mall?"
  242. >"haven't bought clothes in 2 years, these haven't completely disintegrated yet."
  243. "Christ, where do you go when you want to get out?"
  244. >"I hike"
  245. "There, we met hiking the same trail or something"
  246. >"how do we explain why you're living with me?
  247. "I got kicked out of my folk's place last week"
  248. >"damn, you're sharp"
  249. "never doubt your elders"
  250. >"you barely look a year older than me. also why is that?"
  251. "We age different, doesn't take a genius"
  252.
  253. >"fair enough, let's get dressed and see if we can meet up with Phil and John for lunch"
  254. "fine, where'd my clothes end up?"
  255. >"still in the bathroom I think" you ponder rubbing your neck
  256. "Then I'll steal some of yours" Eira says opening your closet and rummaging around
  257. "there, how does it fit me?" putting on a black tshirt you outgrew years ago but never threw out for some reason
  258. >"looks alright,"
  259. >after looking through your wardrobe and completing the outfit with some jeans and her usual shoes
  260. >"I'll give them a call and see where they are" retrieving your cell once again and dialing Phil
  261. >P-"got your excuse yet lady killer?"
  262. >"Yeah, we're meeting for lunch to get acquainted, John with you?"
  263. >P-"as always, because he cares about his comrades in fitness, where we meeting?"
  264. >"get fucked, you're already out so your call"
  265. >P-"tinny's sound good?"
  266. >"perfect, we'll be there in 20"
  267. >you two make your way and pull up just as your friends are doing the same
  268. >Phil and John hop out of the car with shit eating grins at the situation
  269. >"Lets go" as you and Eira step out of the car,
  270. >P-"there's the lucky lady, how'd this git end up with a doll like you"
  271. "he helped me out of a jam and I couldn't help but fall for the lug" she says hanging on your arm
  272. >P-"well I'm Phil and this is John" referring to your other friend about a pace behind him
  273. "Pleasure to meet you, shall we head in?"
  274. >"Let's, we can talk at the table"
  275.
  276. >You grab a table and order something to eat when John pipes in
  277. >J-"So you mentioned being in a jam when you two met, what exactly happened?"
  278. "I was on a hike and ran out of water, the trip back down took longer than I though and ended up passing out from the heat, a while later I woke up in the shade with Anon here passing me a bottle" Eira says, placing a hand on your arm
  279. >J-"sounds like you got lucky there, good thing our boy is a chivalrous one"
  280. >"so how's everything with Carla?" you ask changing the focus away from yourself
  281. >J-"well enough, she wont make Derek and June's wedding though"
  282. >"Get caught up in work or what?"
  283. >J-"her mom got in a wreck and she wants to take care of her"
  284. >"How bad is she?"
  285. >"Roughed up and some broken ribs, but she'll be fine"
  286. >P-"you would have known this if you weren't spending so much time with your girlfriend here"
  287. >"I'm also in a new house thank you very much"
  288. "If you dont mind me asking, who's June?" Eira questions
  289. >J-"Our buddy Derek's fiance, nice girl"
  290. >P-"You two would get along, you should go shopping to something"
  291. >about this time the food arrives and the four of you continue to chat
  292. >when you finish the bill is split and you head outside. John and Derek figured they'd go home and play some games leaving you and Eira to enjoy the rest of your day
  293. >you hop in the truck and ask her "do you want some other clothes? I mean what you have is great but you did have to wear mine on days when you did the wash"
  294. "I could use another outfit or two I suppose"
  295. >"I could talk to June about taking you, you can have some girltalk and get that interaction from when you were with your sisters"
  296. "What kind of clothes does she wear? I dont want to look like those young hussies" gesturing to a small herd of teenagers on the sidewalk
  297. >"Her and Derek are a bit goth, so she should help you find more stuff like the suit you normally wear."
  298.
  299. >you call Derek when you arrive home and set up a day for the girls,
  300. >"Alright, she's open on Saturday she'll pick you up at 11:00, since you're unemployed I'll give you some cash
  301. "Just because I don't have a job doesn't mean I cant get one"
  302. >"You're a rifle of course you can't get a job, hell you cant drink with us since you don't have an ID"
  303. "On the contrary, a few bills were passed in the '50s that declares all firearms that show human characteristics as citizens if the were manufactured or legally imported" Eira scoffs triumphantly
  304. >"I call Bullshit in the highest degree, where's this law?
  305. "I figured out how to use google while you were at work the other day, check it out" beckoning you to the computer
  306. >after some digging you end up at a .gov page that proves Eira's claim
  307. >"I'll be damned, you're a citizen with rights and shit."
  308. "told you"
  309. >"Well I was going to get you a cellphone of your own and some cash but if you want to start job hunting that's perfectly fine by me, just know that you don't need to as long as you have me."
  310. >"Anyway we should watch a movie or something, it's too late to go shooting again, and I'll need rest for work tomorrow."
  311. "what movie did you want to watch" she asks perking up
  312. "let's browse netflix and see what shows up"
  313. >You end up curled up on the couch marathoning some foreign slasher series and about halfway through the 3rd one Eira has fallen asleep as you stroke her hair." feeling tired yourself you pick her up and go to bed
  314. >next few days come and go without incident, and the day finally arrives when Eira and June go to the mall
  315.
  316. >You grab a table and order something to eat when John pipes in
  317. >J-"So you mentioned being in a jam when you two met, what exactly happened?"
  318. "I was on a hike and ran out of water, the trip back down took longer than I though and ended up passing out from the heat, a while later I woke up in the shade with Anon here passing me a bottle" Eira says, placing a hand on your arm
  319. >J-"sounds like you got lucky there, good thing our boy is a chivalrous one"
  320. >"so how's everything with Carla?" you ask changing the focus away from yourself
  321. >J-"well enough, she wont make Derek and June's wedding though"
  322. >"Get caught up in work or what?"
  323. >J-"her mom got in a wreck and she wants to take care of her"
  324. >"How bad is she?"
  325. >"Roughed up and some broken ribs, but she'll be fine"
  326. >P-"you would have known this if you weren't spending so much time with your girlfriend here"
  327. >"I'm also in a new house thank you very much"
  328. "If you dont mind me asking, who's June?" Eira questions
  329. >J-"Our buddy Derek's fiance, nice girl"
  330. >P-"You two would get along, you should go shopping to something"
  331. >about this time the food arrives and the four of you continue to chat
  332. >when you finish the bill is split and you head outside. John and Derek figured they'd go home and play some games leaving you and Eira to enjoy the rest of your day
  333. >you hop in the truck and ask her "do you want some other clothes? I mean what you have is great but you did have to wear mine on days when you did the wash"
  334. "I could use another outfit or two I suppose"
  335. >"I could talk to June about taking you, you can have some girltalk and get that interaction from when you were with your sisters"
  336. "What kind of clothes does she wear? I dont want to look like those young hussies" gesturing to a small herd of teenagers on the sidewalk
  337. >"Her and Derek are a bit goth, so she should help you find more stuff like the suit you normally wear."
  338.
  339. >you call Derek when you arrive home and set up a day for the girls,
  340. >"Alright, she's open on Saturday she'll pick you up at 11:00, since you're unemployed I'll give you some cash
  341. "Just because I don't have a job doesn't mean I cant get one"
  342. >"You're a rifle of course you can't get a job, hell you cant drink with us since you don't have an ID"
  343. "On the contrary, a few bills were passed in the '50s that declares all firearms that show human characteristics as citizens if the were manufactured or legally imported" Eira scoffs triumphantly
  344. >"I call Bullshit in the highest degree, where's this law?
  345. "I figured out how to use google while you were at work the other day, check it out" beckoning you to the computer
  346. >after some digging you end up at a .gov page that proves Eira's claim
  347. >"I'll be damned, you're a citizen with rights and shit."
  348. "told you"
  349. >"Well I was going to get you a cellphone of your own and some cash but if you want to start job hunting that's perfectly fine by me, just know that you don't need to as long as you have me."
  350. >"Anyway we should watch a movie or something, it's too late to go shooting again, and I'll need rest for work tomorrow."
  351. "what movie did you want to watch" she asks perking up
  352. "let's browse netflix and see what shows up"
  353. >You end up curled up on the couch marathoning some foreign slasher series and about halfway through the 3rd one Eira has fallen asleep as you stroke her hair." feeling tired yourself you pick her up and go to bed
  354. >next few days come and go without incident, and the day finally arrives when Eira and June go to the mall
  355.
  356. >She arrives home a few hours later with a few bags filled with items similar to her normal attire
  357. >"Have fun?"
  358. "It was great, I would have like you there to see what you liked though"
  359. >"I'm sure it wouldn't make a difference, while you were gone something arrived in the mail" you say handing her a small box
  360. "What's this?"
  361. >"open it and see for yourself"
  362. >with a bit of work to tear past the packaging she retrieves her prize, a 1900 pattern bayonet
  363. "Oh my god you found one! where did you get this?" she shouts with glee
  364. >"online auction,"
  365. >before you can realize she's wrapped her arms around you pressing her face into your chest
  366. >Life might turn out pretty well after all you think to yourself as you return the embrace
  367.
  368. Finished.
