This is my personal character reference for John Goodall. I am currently employed as an IHCD Emergency Medical Technician whilst I finish my final module of Paramedic degree. I have been a close friend, mentor, mentee and colleague of John’s since approximately 2014 at SSG UK Specialist Ambulance Service (previously UK Specialist Ambulance Service). I have found John to consistently exceed expectations in his patient communication skills, clinical knowledge and work ethic.

I have worked with John whilst he was a trainee IHCD Emergency Medical Technician, Qualified Technician and more recently as a Paramedic. We worked consistently together as a crew on a frontline 999 ambulance from 25th December 2017 to mid February 2018, throughout this time John worked tirelessly and with the utmost professionalism towards the Paramedic profession. Throughout this period the ambulance services and NHS as a whole was experiencing one of the busiest winters to date, despite these daily challenges John continued to offer excellent patient care, reliability and compassion.
Throughout my time working with John I have witnessed some of the best patient communication skills and used them in my own practice.
I personally and professionally feel that John is an icon to the Paramedic profession and his hard work and dedication relay this message to the public.
