Earl and Hank have only one thing in common: they're both L.A.P.D. rejects. One just got kicked out, the other can't even get in. After confronting each other on opposite sides of the law during a traffic stop that escalates out of control, these two luckless individuals end up partnered as lowly security guards. Despite being damned to the lowest rung of the law enforcement ladder, Earl and Hank uncover a sophisticated smuggling operation led by Nash and his band of thugs. When Earl and Hank get their hands on some hot property, they go on the run from, first the bad guys, then the L.A.P.D.--led by Lt. Washington and Detective McDuff. What these two unlikely partners do to law enforcement is a crime, but they just might save the day. That is, if they don't kill each other first.
Two mismatched security guards are thrown together to bust a smuggling operation.
I just read the tagline and began to watch the movie with an empty mind. Races are fact but discrimination must not be. I am not an English speaking person. That&#39;s why sometimes I feel some difficulty in understanding English movies, if the accent is difficult or the sound mixing is bad. However, I enjoyed this movie in its full contest. It doesn&#39;t get the help of too much sex-perverted comedy to make people laugh. Just simple situations and dialogs make you laugh and feel better in bitter life.<br/><br/>It is a story of a black man who is racist and very non-serious person. He faces consequences due to his non-seriousness and blames on whites for being unfavorable to blacks. Later he finds a white man who is fired from police because of him. The black joins the white in a struggle to catch some smugglers. At last, he gets his reward not because of his race but because of his bravery and selflessness in campaign against smugglers. In a way, this movie can be a good example for people who search excuses in races for their own personal flaws and mistakes.<br/><br/>Watch this movie with an open mind and I hope you&#39;ll definitely enjoy it.
i personally didn&#39;t find this movie particularly funny... really its just a horrible sequence of stereotypes about how the poor black man is always the victim and at the same time how playing the victim is racist in and of itself.<br/><br/>im not really sure what else to say about it... its a movie... it tries to be funny i guess... martin lawrence is sometimes funny, but in this movie i just found its constant crying about how black people are poorly treated and how white people are just evil slave masters constantly trying to get the black man down tiresome...<br/><br/>So if feeling sorry about your race and putting the blame on everyone else is your kind of humor im sure you would really like this movie... personally i just find it racist all around... and people should really stop trying to single themselves out for what color they are, if you really have a problem with racism maybe you should take a good long look at yourself in the mirror, things like this really only do more harm than good...<br/><br/>But hey thats just my 2 cents.... 2/10
In the final analysis though, the only real thing being smuggled in National Security is unwitting patrons' admission fees.
