The title of the picture was made by the numerous fans of the photo itself, as they said that Željko Kerum is literally making a “ham out of himself”. Yes, this man is the politician who is trying to become a major for the second time, but what do people think about this little photo? Well, it is 50% 50%, since many of them would comment that he is just human and he likes to make jokes, while the other half criticize him for doing “stupid things” with his status.
For those who are not that familiar with Željko Kerum, you should know that he is a Croatian politician and entrepreneur who was a mayor of Split between 2009 and 2013. Born on September 1960, in a small village called Ogorje in the Dalamtion hinterland, Željko Kerum loved to study. He was always fascinated with the world of politics, and even as a kid, he wanted to start his own business. He finished the Technical high school in Croatia, Split, in 1978, after which in 1981 he was able to get his first job working on military bases in Iraq, in the Split construction company Melioraija.
Željko Kerum founded his first company in 1989, and he opened his convenience store in the 90s. About 6 years after that, he decided to open his first supermarket as well, in the neighborhood Lora of Split. Željko Kerum bought the Diokim industrial facilities in 2003, and in 2007 he opened one of the biggest shopping malls in Dalmatia today, called the Joker. Many people have tried to purchase the name and the building Joker from Željko Kerum, but he has stated many times that it is not for sale. The Joker mall is being handled by his son.
Many people see Željko Kerum as a very serious politician with a short temper. He has been seen yelling at the media many times, as he is not fond of interviews. There were a couple of incidents where you could clearly see his outburst of anger for small reasons, which is probably why he did not make it as a major in the second elections. In addition, he has said many times that he feels nothing but “hate’ towards the media, even if they were to write nice and truthful things.
However, as much as we know Željko Kerum as a serious politician, there is one picture that stomps everything that you might have thought about him. In the picture, you can see that he is having fun with a bunch of people, as he is sitting in a chair holding a glass of beer (or so it seems) with a piece of ham on his forehead. Yes, that is right, Željko Kerum has a piece of ham on his forehead while explaining something to the people around him.
