Loopers "opening" video discussion

At the start of the month, Key posted this video for Loopers to Youtube. Thing is, they used a bit of a unique term for it. It wasn't called an opening video or a teaser movie or anything; it was called a "theme song movie" which I didn't have an explanation for at the time. The phrase almost makes it sound like this video is solely representing the song and not the game which may actually be true. This video played behind sana as she performed the song at KSL (Every performance had some visuals and lyrics on the monitor. Some were more detailed, some less so). I'd say it's possible this video was made for KSL and won't be used in the game.
There is some precedent for this too. At the the 2018 KSL, there was a video made for the Alka Tale performance. That video is also quite detailed with 3D animation and other material that wasn't used in the actual game, and that video only saw the light of day again in 2020 when Key held a live stream called the Torishirojima Music Hour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InVvCwnWv4Y&t=310s
The big difference between the Alka Tale video and the Loopers video is that the Loopers one contains hand-drawn animation which is generally more complex. However, I did count and only saw 14 unique drawings: 6 frames for Mia to go from standstill to running followed by an 8 frame run cycle; this equates to about 1 second of unique animation. It's also not a full-body shot but just her legs and a little of her skirt and coat. That might put it in the realm of being cheap enough for a onetime thing.
I'm just theorizing, but I would say it's a possibility that the video is a separate thing just used for advertisement. I will at least be referring to it more as a standalone product until we see more of how it's used.
