(3:04:10 PM) Ikiryo: ...when suddenly her best friend's face extends through the puzzle. "Whatcha doing?~"
(3:08:57 PM) Blueshift_North: "A lot of waiting, honestly.  Neither the spy nor the head of RnD for a space empire I tried to contact on twitter have reached out to me.  Meriel's with Sunstar right now because uh.  She also needs therapy.  And those coward boy band assholes won't call me back.  I'm two days from vandalizing their social media."
(3:11:13 PM) Ikiryo: "Alright...want to go shopping with me?~"
(3:11:22 PM) Blueshift_North: "I. . . Sure."
(3:11:49 PM) ***Blueshift_North sits up.  "Am I driving?"
(3:12:15 PM) Ikiryo: "Sort of. It's a small jump, a couple of hours away."
(3:15:18 PM) Blueshift_North: "Oh I thought you meant on-site.  Alright cool.  Let's go.  Where to?"
(3:17:28 PM) Ikiryo: "A station not far away. Dopler has been leaving my terminal open to stores about cat beds and toys."
(3:18:20 PM) Blueshift_North: "This is one of those surprise things.  Okay give me the coordinates and I promise I won't google the station."
(3:19:57 PM) Ikiryo: "Nah, it's not a secret for us. Doppler just keeps leaving messages...and all the things are from this station."
(3:21:51 PM) Blueshift_North: "Alright, let's go then."  She heads to the cockpit and heads out.
(3:22:27 PM) Ikiryo: Elsewhere, Doppler grins.
(3:23:39 PM) ***Blueshift_North doesn't really notice because the cat is very good at hiding where cameras don't see her.
(3:26:08 PM) Ikiryo: The station in question soon appears. A Magocracy of Canopus trading post/pleasure station.
(3:33:09 PM) Ikiryo: The Magocracy of Canopus is a small sphere, ruled by mages. As a result of how small they are, they've enbraced tourism to help make a name for themselves. They are experts in alterism magic, tourism and entertainment-based magic.
(3:34:09 PM) Blueshift_North: "Okay so at least place doesn't sound too dangerous."
(3:34:39 PM) Ikiryo: "You havn't seen this place..." She smiles though as the station designates a docking port for the ship.
(3:35:05 PM) ***Blueshift_North pulls in.
(3:38:21 PM) Ikiryo: A large sign hangs over the docking port as they arrive. 'Welcome to the Cat's Meow'.
(3:39:38 PM) ***Blueshift_North raises an eyebrow at her friend.
(3:40:13 PM) Ikiryo: "As I said, Doppler keeps leaving my terminal open to stuff from here."
(3:40:26 PM) Ikiryo: They are soon docked.
(3:41:44 PM) ***Blueshift_North goes to enter the station.
(3:43:11 PM) Ikiryo: They are soon met by a tall, curvy...catgirl. She's dressed in a shirt with the symbol of the station and 'Check Me-owt' on it. "Hi, welcome to the station! I'm your customs officer and guide!"
(3:44:30 PM) Blueshift_North: "Hi?"
(3:45:39 PM) Ikiryo: "So, just making sure: You are not bringing any catnip in, are you? We've got to keep our local catnip supplies pure, so that means not taining any of the system with outside products." She smiles widely at them.
(3:46:56 PM) Blueshift_North: "I haven't bought any but. . . actually hold on I have a kitten who likes causing mischief." She rummages around in her many pockets.
(3:47:22 PM) Ikiryo: She finds a bag labeled 'Catnip'. It's currently empty though...and Doppler has left coins in it.
(3:48:26 PM) Blueshift_North: "I think I'm supposed to buy some then."
(3:49:26 PM) Ikiryo: "That's fine, we've got fantastic local breeds. Many of them award-winning! Now, do you have any other drugs? If not, do you want any?"
(3:51:28 PM) Blueshift_North: "I don't and most don't have any effect on me."
(3:52:28 PM) Ikiryo: "Oh, that's unfortunate. You are heavily cybernetic, yes? We have an excellent selection of recreational virus' if you'd like to try some during your visit~"

(3:54:05 PM) Ikiryo: "Alright, now are you planning to commit any murders here? We only allow murders with a licence and written permission from both parties!"

(4:52:41 PM) Ikiryo: "There are two teams. Cats and Dogs. If you tag someone, they are out. If you then get them to your base, you can put them in your jail. Anyone in jail for a full ten minutes swaps teams." She grins.

(4:54:48 PM) Ikiryo: "Want to give it a shot, then go shopping?" She takes a sip from her other bottle, soon regaining her cat features and curves.

(5:13:12 PM) Ikiryo: The match goes well. North gets caught once and ends up a dog but Adelinda gets her back. They end up winning, all the running about leaving them exausted but having had a good time.

(5:15:32 PM) Ikiryo: Adelinda grins. "Yeah. The latest version is pretty fun...and hey, no creepy mind control."
(5:17:46 PM) Blueshift_North: ". . . so okay it's someone else in the group then, because whenever it's me and you these places are fine, like how I apparently found the only normal therapist in Sigil, and now we come to a hedonist transformation playground and there's no mind control.  So that's clearly not on either of us."

(5:20:45 PM) Ikiryo: The guide grins at them. "So, shopping and a few other places? We've got plenty of food and movies and arcades. I promice you, it's all Purrfect~"

(5:25:33 PM) Ikiryo: Several hours pass. The lastest Viviance Vance, Virtualkinetic movie. A high class pizza place. A few pet stores. An electronics store Adelinda gets some parts she's been wanting for ages. An arcade with an endless variety of games.
(5:28:18 PM) Blueshift_North: "That was fun."  She says, at the end.
(5:28:52 PM) Ikiryo: The guide grins. "I'm glad you think so. Did you manage to get all your shopping done?"
(5:30:54 PM) Blueshift_North: "I think that's everything, yeah."
(5:31:40 PM) Ikiryo: "Great, come back soon!" She gives both of them a hug. "It's been lovely having you here!"
(5:34:18 PM) Blueshift_North: "I actually might."
(5:35:16 PM) Ikiryo: "Alright, best of luck both of you!"
(5:35:22 PM) Ikiryo: She's led them back to the ship.
(5:35:52 PM) ***Blueshift_North gets back on board.
(5:36:33 PM) Ikiryo: Doppler is waiting for them, smiling up at the pair.
(5:38:39 PM) ***Blueshift_North gently picks the kitten up and sets Doppler on her shoulder, scratching behind her ears in just the right way.  "COme on, we've got stuff for you we should probably set up."

(5:39:24 PM) Ikiryo: Doppler is very happy about how this went. North really needed a break after all she went through.
(5:40:25 PM) Blueshift_North: "Thanks." She says, quietly, then hugs Adelinda.  "Both of you."
