  1. "Young man, if you are to set out to that hourglass of the world, heed what I say." A young boy scoured tomes behind the hulking figure of the dragon, covered in sky blue gemstones, looking down at Solomon. "The Desert of Desolation was long ago a flourishing place, a jewel of this land. There is now there something the chained man, called king, seeks."
  2.
  3. "Who?"
  4.
  5. "You may refer to him as 'the fairy king,' as to you humans he may seem enchanted. His spirit in this world is unnatural. It is because of him I've come to lend aid." Solomon looked confused at the dragon, named Corovaxinar. He spoke plainly, his voice an odd meld of sound and a voice that echoed in the mind of the listener. "Kin of mine have seen the writing on the wall. The wode grows again after the elves were stopped. A book with knowledge man was not meant to know was written by a human, capturing the essence we have guarded for years. It stirs to awaken something awful. Something far more threatening than even the Tiamat. That man called king seeks it."
  6.
  7. "Look, I'm not traveling to the desert to look for any more books, I've got my own interests there." Solomon lowered his voice. "Interests in breaking certain contracts and uh, setting my own."
  8.
  9. The dragon stated plainly "You will find something else resting in that cursed place, an era trapped in time. When you do, a new responsibility will fall on the Wyrmbreakres. It will fall on us all. You must not let that man get that tome."
  10.
  11. Solomon rolled his eyes. Great, another 'fate' will befall him. Just what he needed.
