  1. 2024 Video Games
  2.
  3. 1. Final Fantasy 1, Solo Fighter 6/10 - It's FF1, it's fine, Solo fighter was a pretty easy, might try a different class some time.
  4. 2. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice 8/10 - Beautiful game, great storytelling, good but repetitive combat/puzzles. Excited for the sequel.
  5. 3. Diablo 2 LoD - 8/10, haven't played this since high school, played a Wind Druid through Normal and Nightmare, don't feel like doing Hell right now. Classic fun.
  6. 4. Transistor - 7/10, this game had a lot going for it (music, art style mechanics) but for me it never fell into place to make a cohesive experience. Might deserve a second player later.
  7. 5. Beeny - 7/10, cute 20 minute game with good music. There are some time trials you can do, but maybe some other day.
  8. 6. FF7R Intergrade - 6/10, everything about this was fine. Combat is fun, mini games were okay, story was lackluster. Game looks amazing though.
  9. 7. Last Epoch - 7/10, fun but easy Diablo-like. Good to play with the friends, gonna casual grind this one for a while probably, but will come back when game is fully released.
  10. 8. Shadow of the Erdtree - 8/10, I mean, what did you expect. Definitely hard, definitely some issues, but had a really good time. Very challenging, really encourages changing up builds, which I don't really do, but makes a huge difference. Camera issues, enough said.
  11. 9. Sekiro, Purification Ending - 9/10, Combat obviously carries this game, but the story is honestly pretty solid, too. My biggest complaint is that I had a very hard time figuring out where to go half the time, which is why I took a 4 year break in my playthrough, but I'm glad I came back and finished it.
  12. 10. The Stanley Parable - 7/10, Fun little, 4th wall breaking game. Made me laugh quite a bit, nice game to play for an afternoon if you like narrative driven stories.
  13. 11. DQ3 HD2D - 7/10, maybe I'm judging a bit harsh, but game needs balancing on the bosses. New content is fine for the most part. Zoma shouldn't be susceptible to sleep.
