Helm Escape saves time?

Is it faster?

Short answer, maybe (with it looking like a yes).

Long answer, after doing the traditional timing method, it's come to a result of 76 (Now 93 after route improvements) seconds faster (Inc. a trip to BFI). On top of that, a GB replacement was added in after these timings, so there is potential further time-save (Of around 20s maybe)

However, this result seems peculiar for various reasons. So I am not giving a definite yes/no answer yet.

My general plan is to look through my test run and time all my time losses and see whether it comes close to my 40BP SoB. If so, then I'll do several runs within a couple weeks and see whether I can push my Helm Escape SoB below my 40BP SoB.

If I can, I would say that's enough evidence to suggest it's faster. If not, we'll see.

Of course, there is nothing preventing you from running the route whilst this is going on. However, be prepared to switch back to 40BP if it turns out it's not faster.
