Clan of Kitsune (Fox Clan)

A tribe of many that wander the world - there are many types. The Snow tribe, the Fire tribe, the Earth tribe, the Lightning tribe, and even the Wind tribe.

Each tribe has a specified priestess that guides the tribe and is represented by their tribe elemental. Each tribe is tied to a village, respective to their elemental. There are rumors that speak that they hail from another continent, or even from an alternate plane.

The clan allows a heightened sense of smell and night vision, only for a limited time depending on strength/rank. They have a natural increase in dexterity and intelligence, and are known for their set of ears and tails.

The number of tails determines one's strength. The maximum amount of tails said to be held was 6 - and that is a rarity. The most ever seen visibly is up to 4 tails.

Skills include heavy taijutsu and decency in Genjutsu, as they can be sly at times and tricksters. Natural claws on hands and feet allow for more damage in taijutsu - no specified kekkei genkai except for those of the priestess bloodline.

Those of the priestess bloodline have access to the special ability that is the Foxfire - of two levels. The first is of genjutsu level, which makes the opponent believe they are burning alive. The second is the floating of fire lanterns at the tips of the tails, and allowing them to throw them - maximum to the number of tails. The Genjutsu is started by rubbing the tails together - if the opponent sees this with the proper hand motions that indicate the start of the flame, the genjutsu begins.
