- Clear Lordran Challenge Rune Guidelines
- Setup:
- Player makes his/her way through the game killing ALL of the bosses (except Gwyn) and leveling a character in any desired way. No using duped souls for leveling, but soul duping for items or objectives (like Crest of Artorias) is ok. Once all of the bosses are dead and the way to the Kiln is opened, player finalizes any character setup and returns to Firelink bonfire. This is where the journey begins.
- Guidelines:
- - Player kills every NPC in each area of the game (if possible), including friendly NPCs.
- - No sitting at any bonfire.
- - No using items that warp (Dark Sign, Homeward Bone, or PvP items, since they restore spell uses, etc.)
- - No Saving & Quitting to avoid falls or enemies
- - Areas may be done in any order desired.
- - Spells are allowed, but keep in mind that spell charges can't be restored.
- - After every enemy in a given area lies dead, the player may mark the area as 'Complete' and not have to worry about it anymore.
- - If the player dies, touches a bonfire, or breaks the rules in any other way, the run must be restarted. The run MAY start from a save file with a pre-setup character, however, simply to save the time.
- NOTES:
- - Areas WILL respawn due to in-game mechanics. Example: After clearing Blighttown, it will respawn after going down and clearing Ash Lake. Another example is that Anor Londo will respawn after entering/leaving the Painted World.
