Covert black ops and espionage take a back seat to zany personalities and relationships between secret agents and drones.
Archer is an animated, half-hour comedy that revolves around an international spy agency and the lives of its employees. Although their work of espionage, reconnaissance missions, wiretapping and undercover surveillance is daunting and dangerous, every covert operation and global crisis is actually just another excuse for the staff to undermine, sabotage and betray each other for personal gain. The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the highly skilled and incredibly vain master spy "Sterling Archer;" Aisha Tyler as Archer's fellow agent and ex-girlfriend, "Lana Kane;" Jessica Walter as Archer's domineering mother and spy agency director, "Malory Archer;" Chris Parnell as the easily intimidated comptroller-turned secret agent "Cyril Figgis;" Judy Greer as Malory's loquacious, dingbat secretary, "Cheryl;" Amber Nash as the discordant director of human resources, "Pam Poovey;" Adam Reed as the gay voice of reason, "Ray Gillette;" and Lucky Yates as the spy agency's possibly mad scientist/ possibly clone of himself, "Krieger."
I was a fan of the hit and miss show Sealab and later on Frisky Dingo which was less hit and miss and quite entertaining. If you like rank shows. I am also a fan of Venture Bros and I don&#39;t see how you cant draw the similarities between the two. I am also happy to see Jon Benjamin get some steady voice work and he was great in Dr Katz and Home Movies. I would recommend it to anyone to watch the first episode before making your judgment. This is the best pilot I have seen in a while and usually their pretty lame even on shows I think have promise.<br/><br/>The show involves a super spy whose boss happens to be his mother. He has an ex lover as a fellow spy that is currently dating some guy in accounting. You have a blabby HR lady and some other people thrown into the mix like a secretary who is in love with Archer. The situations and under the breath comments are laugh out loud to me and my friends. I can&#39;t wait for more.
Archer is an action l based show that follows a man by the name of Sterling Archer, his cynical mother, and his co workers, Lana, Pam, Cyril, Sheryl, Ray, and Kreiger. They work for a company called ISIS, an American spy institution where Sterling is often sent in missions around the world.<br/><br/>This show is great at making you laugh out loud, and keeping you entertained. The characters are funny, and likable, the scenery is exciting, and the dialog is humorous. What makes this show better than most adult cartoons is that the writers actually focus on the plotlinrs, and jokes, rather than try to shove ranch down your throat for 25 mins just because they can. <br/><br/>In conclusion, Archer is a great show, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a good laugh, or looking for something to binge for the weekend.

The universe of Archer uses fashion and hairstyles from the early 1960s with a mix of 1980s architecture. Present-day technology such as smartphones and the internet as well as current social values such as the general acceptance of LGBT people and women in positions of power can also be seen in Archer. Countries that no longer exists today such as the Soviet Union still clearly exists in the Archer universe. &quot;The Cold War never ended&quot; is the most accepted theory put forward by the show&#39;s creator which mean&#39;s that Archer is set in the present day but in an alternate timeline from our own.<br/><br/>  a5c7b9f00b
