MLPRF Rules

1. Mods/Admins are the enforcers of the rules. If you have a problem, please report it to a mod and they'll do their best to take care of it. They are there to help.

2. Breaking rules repeated times will only increase your punishment. You get a warning first. Then you get silenced. A ban is followed afterwards, and if necessary IP ban will be put in place. A punishment can get skipped on the severity of the rule broken. If you feel you were unjustly punished too quickly by a mod, report to the admins: Sweet Dew and Veen Sundown.

3. Please refrain from harassing other visitors. The severity of the harassment will decide a proper punishment. This includes threats, which are NOT tolerated.

4. Unjust rudeness is not accepted. Do not insult another visitor when they do not deserve it. If you retaliate to another visitor's rudeness, you might be excused unless you break any rules in the process: Do not degrade others, refrain from directing profanity directly intended to hurt another, threats are still not tolerated in these situations.

5. Do not spam or flood the chat with unnecessary texts or walls. If you post anything that disrupts the chat, it will be deleted by a mod and you will receive punishment, whether it be a warning or greater.

6. Do not abuse Chatzy commands. Changing nicknames/rolldie/choose/[x]. These DO count as spam if abused.

7. Do not avoid punishment. Avoiding silences or bans will only make your punishment last longer in the end.

8. Debating is okay in some cases. Nothing can go anywhere without debating. However, a mod or admin can choose when a debate has turned into a mindless argument. In this case when the mod says to stop, do so. Continuing will result in a silence.

9. Do not impersonate other visitors or even a mod.

10. NSFW images are allowed. If you have posted one image beforehand and are told to warn NSFW first, then do so. Refrain from posting shocking images that other visitors surely would not like to see. This includes: Heavy/shocking imagery, an image meant purely to insult someone, images depicting abusive nature, such as rape, torture and whatnot. If you post pedophilia (Obvious underage characters) or scat and gore, expect that image to get removed shortly as not everyone likes these things. Repeated warnings will get you banned. This also includes Erotic Roleplay. Do not roleplay gore, scat, rape, pedophilia, or anything that is somewhat similar to what is said here.

11. Please listen to mods/admins and take into consideration what they're saying, they are there to make sure the chat is as enjoyable as possible. If you do not agree with them, request to talk to them in PM. Otherwise drop it or an argument can start and disrupt the flow of chat.

12. If you have broken rules before, and given plenty of warnings, mods can choose punishment at the proper discretion.

13. Enjoy your time in MLPRF. You aren't being forced to stay, but remember that other people are there to enjoy themselves just as well.

14. Please avoid being cringey. As in, please don't act stupid and annoy other users. No one likes it when you do that. If you continue to be annoying/cringey, you'll be silenced for causing a large portion of the rest of the chat room to dislike you. If you receive enough complaints from other users, you may have action taken against you with or without rules being broken. This is a community; If you can't get along with other users, you're better off somewhere else.

15. Please do not post any spoilers. Of any movie regardless; Some people can't afford cinema tickets to the big stuff. Wait for two weeks before talking about MLP Episodes, and wait for a month before talking about any kind of movie. This is your only warning; If you EVER post spoilers, you will be immediately silenced, and if you continue to spoil, you will be IP banned. Don't be a dickhead.

16: Do not advertise any other chat in this room. You will be silenced, or kicked from the room.

17: Please do not use OCs that are not made for the MLP fandom. As well as crossing other universes into the MLP one. Exceptions can be made, such as a human or a furry OC, but they cannot be from an entirely different universe from the MLP one. Fallout Equestria is okay, and any other universes that branch off of the original MLP universe is fine, as long as it's not stupid shit.
In short; Please, no crossovers. Everyone does not like them.

18: If you're under the age of 18, then you're probably not allowed in the room. This is a relatively new rule, and since there is porn in it, this should've been a rule from the star.

Moderators

1. You were given mod for a reason. Do not abuse your powers or think that it gives you the right to scare others. Moderation is not to be taken lightly and to get what you want. Mod is not a gift, or a privilege, it's a badge telling you to play your part and keep chat fun. DO NOT ABUSE IT.

2. Keep your opinions away from doing your job. Just because you believe a certain thing gives you no certain right to enforce it. Keep the rules in mind, they apply to you too.

3. If you are unsure of whether or not action should be taken, consult another mod to get an agreement on what should be done. You aren't the only mod, don't be a hero and take everything into your own hands. If they for sure have broken a rule, then you are permitted to take action, otherwise, get a second opinion.

4. Remember, even visitor rules can apply to you. If you make yourself a nuisance, do not expect to be continuing on much longer.

5. Specific punishments for specific rules:
Rule 2. Do not punish unjustly. Even the visitor has a right to be there. Only punish when they've deserved it.
Rule 3. If unsure of how severe a punishment should be, consult another mod or the admins if you have to. If no one else is there, give them a brief silence and warn them to tone it down.
Rule 4. A 10-minute silence should follow if they ignore a warning. If they persist, follow with a longer silence or an hour ban. If they continue further, a ban for a day is acceptable. After all else has failed, an IP ban might be in order.
Rule 5. A warning should be necessary if the spam is manageable. If it continues, follow rule 4 for punishment duration. If the spam is unmanageable, or the visitor had just joined the chat, silence immediately or ban for a day. IP banning in serious situations.
Rule 6. Silencing for 10 minutes should be the only punishment given at first glance. After the 3rd silence and they still continue, ban for a day. IP banning should never be necessary as this is more manageable.
Rule 7. First few times increase by an hour or day depending on previous punishment. After multiple additions, IP banning might be necessary
Rule 8. After a warning has been place and ignored, silencing should be the only option. Arguments are more manageable and a silence should cool off the visitor.
Rule 9. Warning only. If they refuse to change, silence them until they give in.
Rule 10. The severity of the image should be consulted with another mod. Delete unwanted images. If they continue posting, silencing is in order.
Rule 11. The punishments should be as followed on rule 8.
