  5. [18:03] <!CYOA-sama> Everyone in Wraithmire have been undead for as long as they can remember.
  6. [18:03] <!CYOA-sama> They've all "lived" with their curse.
  7. [18:04] <!CYOA-sama> But now, they will bestow that same curse on a man who never asked for it.
  8. [18:04] <!CYOA-sama> It is a decision that the entire town came to as a whole.
  9. [18:04] <!CYOA-sama> To permanently taint a paladin for their own selfishness.
  10. [18:05] <!CYOA-sama> An elegant blond woman clutches a cross and prays as smoke rises from her hands.
  11. [18:07] <!CYOA-sama> A woman in a cape paces back and forthe with a scythe, the blade of which has been broken.
  12. [18:08] <!CYOA-sama> The square is filled with complex faces, a mixture of guilt and concern making them hard to read.
  13. [18:08] <!CYOA-sama> The paladin's shining sword is placed in the hands of his corpse.
  14. [18:08] <!CYOA-sama> The ritual to create a deathknight will bind his soul to the blade forever.
  15. [18:09] <!CYOA-sama> It's time...
  16. [18:09] <!CYOA-sama> Black lightning screams from the sky striking the body of the paladin.
  17. [18:10] <!CYOA-sama> The clouds crack and a rain of fresh blood falls over the city.
  18. [18:10] <!CYOA-sama> Thick gloopy blood.
  19. [18:10] <!CYOA-sama> From the corpse a cold chill spreads like a fog of death over the city.
  20. [18:11] <!CYOA-sama> The Beautiful Lich stands in a magic circle as she chants...

  25. [18:12] <!CYOA-sama> The agonizing howl of necromancy echos through the city as a swirling vortex of nether energies whips up around the corpse.

  27. [18:13] <!CYOA-sama> Old Abyssal runes that even most demons could not decipher.

  34. [18:15] <!CYOA-sama> He opens his eyes, now glowing blue orbs of negative energy.

  125. [19:36] <!CYOA-sama> The thing you've always feared, a quiet dutiful death, alone and with no one to remember you... will now come to pass.
