  1. Jump #433: Shin Godzilla
  2. >The Hanged Man: Surrendering to an experience. Adjusting to new ideas through sacrifice.
  3. >Age: 31
  4. >Location: Tokyo, Japan
  5. >Identity: Politician
  6. >Drawbacks: (+800) Walking WMD, Even Kaiju Need Naptime, World of Monsters
  7. Well, this is tricky. I was involved in an accident that irradiated me at the start of the jump, yet somehow I stayed alive, though this also means periods where I'm all but comatose... which is doubly tricky because I'm not a monster, I'm a human. So... this will be a jump where I play it low-key, not to mention doing my job inside of a radiation suit to protect everyone else from ME. I'm basically under house arrest otherwise.
  8. >We'll Do It Live (Free, Politician)
  9. Bill O'Reilly I am not, because I CAN do it live.
  10. >Greasing The Wheels (Free, Politician)
  11. Well, someone's got to know what the heck to do when it all goes wrong.
  12. >Locked And Loaded (1600, Politician)
  13. When disaster strikes, every moment counts. Any delay could be catastrophic. You have to make sure everyone is able to react immediately.
  14. >Making Your Mark On History (1300, Politician)
  15. I'm not worried about making my mark - I'm worried about doing what must be done and not being crucified later for being willing to do it, if I had to. Let's hope that dropping a nuke isn't going to be needed, though.
  16. >The Great Reformer (1000, Politician)
  17. Making any group I'm a part of work with maximum efficiency? (Or subvert it and cause it not to function at all?) Why, that sounds delightful.
  18. >Physics Ain't Got Shit On Me (900)
  19. This'll be handy if I ever need to use my planet alt-form in the future. Not to mention it fixes a handful of issues that come with being a dragon the size of the Andes.
  20. >Heart of Green Fire (300)
  21. Consider the implication of bottomless supernatural power so long as it's from a biological source. Consider Fate magic. Consider power. Unlimited power.
  22. http://youtu.be/kh9kjTFlCnE
  23. >Global Phone (Free, Politician)
  24. Eh, never hurts to have another phone if you can keep 'em all together.
  25. >Cabinet of Power (0, Politician)
  26. Oh, this is handy. A position of power in a civilian government whenever I want it, near the top, without having to tweak anything? I can already do the same with military power structures, but this is quite handy.
  27.
  28. So... Godzilla was the first, but far from the last. Conventional weaponry stands no chance, not with the ascension of a world of hostile monsters. Mothra. Rodan. Gigan. Megalon. King Ghidorah.
  29.
  30. Initially, the Japanese government went deep into debt creating Mecha Godzilla. This went fairly predictably - it ended up fighting Godzilla the second time he returned, then went out of control and became a threat in its own right, its self-repair systems ensuring it would keep coming back, as much at odds with other monsters as humanity.
  31.
  32. Something new was needed. Something better.
  33.
  34. Really, all I did was give a few nudges in the right direction, and give a few hints to certain people as far as material sciences.
  35.
  36. After year three, while Neo Tokyo was being built on the ruins of Old Tokyo... Godzilla and Mothra attacked together. And found themselves stopped by giant mecha.
  37.
  38. A Gundam by any other name is still freaking cool, especially when it's swinging a beam saber.
  39.
  40. On a coincidental note there was a sudden outbreak of world peace considering this was as much of a game changer as nuclear arms...
