  56. A small group of adventurous American soldiers in Iraq at the end of the Gulf War are determined to steal a huge cache of gold reputed to be hidden somewhere near their desert base.   58. This is film has kind of a simple plot. Four soldiers go after gold bricks that is held in a bunker, in a village near Karbala. The four find themselves wanting to help the villagers, more than getting the gold, and they run into a lot of trouble with the Iraqi Soldiers.<br/><br/>This is a great film. But it doesn&#39;t belong under the war genre. It&#39;s more action, even though the setting is war. So, if you&#39;re a(n) &quot;Apocalypse Now,&quot; &quot;Deer Hunter,&quot; &quot;Boys In Company C,&quot; etc. fanatic, than don&#39;t expect much from this movie. Other than that, I think you&#39;d enjoy it. It&#39;s not good as a war film, but it&#39;s good as a(n) action/comedy, or drama film. Give it a look. :)
  59. Minor Spoiler<br/><br/>I caught this movie this past weekend. The critics said it was great, but I was warned to avoid the movie. I of course went to see it. Gift certificate in hand I went and saw the movie. First off, the movie was way too long. It was very drawn out. Everything was going fine, but they of course had to insert the normal &quot;This guy is dumb, and he will screw up the whole plan.&quot; It was rather unoriginal, and it&#39;s only saving grace was the &quot;realism&quot; of the aftermath of this war but even that was rather questionable. Over all, I thought it was a waste of time. I just wonder how movies like this keep getting made.

  61. Yes. The incident was the result of the ongoing animosity between Clooney and Russell coming to a head. George Clooney claims a fight started between Russell and himself after he had witnessed the director shove an extra to the ground. Clooney had previously confronted Russell over his alleged harsh behavior towards extras on set, including ignoring a woman who suffered a seizure while he set up a shot. However, some witnesses claim that Russell was actually demonstrating how he wanted someone to be thrown to the ground in rehearsal, and that Clooney had blown the incident out of proportion.<br/><br/>These incidents are further chronicled in the book &quot;Rebels on the Backlot&quot; by Sharon Waxman.
