There's nothing more unpleasant than getting the boot out of the multiverse by the Source itself. Frustrating way to end a (subjective) decade - too much time travel thanks to the Mobius Throne, but at least I've confirmed the long-standing theory that it's ten years of subjective time. Or perhaps it was because I was at the end of that storyline?

Regardless, the moment that I open my eyes in the universe I find myself in, every ability that I have that warns of catastrophe is screaming at me. A countdown, in plain terms, to the end.

I have only a matter of hours until an unmovable object strikes this universe with an unstoppable force.

But in the end that's what it all is about.

Time.

It's time to stop lying to myself. I've been able to step in between space, to play with time, and that's before taking other factors into account. The Unreal Crown. The Mobius Throne. It's all led to this.

I know the gate. I am the gate. I am the key and guardian of the gate.

All it takes is stepping outside of the gate to deal with the upcoming disaster. To step outside of my comfort zone. Outside of myself. Outside of existence.

All it takes is a single swift strike in the right place, and it's over. Tens of thousands of long years leading up to a single moment.

Light fills my vision in the space between worlds as I thrus t the Spear of Destiny forward.
